I know goyf is the best 2 drop beater ever printed, but I have ran out of funds (I think the rav duals gave that away). I am so close to being done with my agro loam build all I need is something to take the place of goyf (X). Im not going to be playing any tournaments any time soon, so it just needs to work. The list is as follows
4 countryside crusher
4 dark confidant (aka bob)
4 X
1 terravore
3 seismic assault
4 life from the loam
4 chalice of the void
4 mox diamond
2 maelstrom pulse
1 terminate
2 engineered explosives
2 verdant catacomb’s
1 misty rainforest
1 wooded foothills
3 bloodstained mire
2 stomping gournds
1 blood crypt
1 overgrown tomb
2 mountain
1 forest
4 forgotten cave
4 tranquil thicket
4 wasteland
1 volrath’s stronghold
Thanks to everyone in advance. I just want to play with it and can't think of anything to take the green 2 drop spot that won't be pathetic.

Without *'s.
I think Knight of the Reliquary (and that Terravore you already have), while not a 2-drop, is probably the only worthy replacement.
A single Goyf + 3-4 GSZ might go a long way as well.

Is there one of those you recommend over the other? If I choose to run the knights, how do you suggest I tweak the mana base?
Maybe +3 terravore and +1 terminate, or something of that nature?

Punishing Fire + Grove of the Burnwillows
Your Loam engine should guarantee that you'll get both in your GY, then you can let the recurring madness begin. I don't think running 4 Grove should mess up your mana base too badly either.

Scavenging Ooze is a pretty solid option for a 2 drop.
You could do a mini-Green Sun's Zenith toolbox. Maybe the last 4 slots could be 2 GSZ, 1-2 Scavenging Ooze, 0-1 Terravore?

A guy just wrote a tournament report using Skinshifter in Team America.
Maybe try that out?

Someone mentioned Punishing Fire/Grove of the Burnwillows...Kavu Predator can be really good with that combination, but I would only suggest using it if you splash white for KotR and work in Swords to Plowshares instead of Terminate. That option is rough, mostly because you have to either:
1) Drop black for white (and lose Bob, Pulse, etc.)
2) Or play 4 colors...which won't work with your budget and is arguably not smart due to having a weak mana-base that is too susceptable to Wasteland.
I think Scavenging Ooze (as has been mentioned) is pretty awesome.

Skinshifter seems alright, or you could go all old school and get some Werebears. With active Loam you could pump the hell out Wild Mongrel. Also Scavenging Ooze, not the most budget friendly, but pretty amazing.

Scavenging Ooze = $18
Tarmogoyf = $94
(mid-range price on magiccards.info)
I actually think that Wild Mongrel is solid tech, considering the loam engine.

I vote for Scavenging Ooze as well.

Scavenging Ooze hoses the shit out of a lot of things, my vote is for Scavenging Ooze / Werebear.
I mean, Werebear isn't like...obscenely optimal these days, but he's a 2 mana 4/4 for the most part.
Rock mini-GSZ toolbox as Cairo said:
2-3 Green Sun's Zenith
1-2 Scavenging Ooze
1 Tarmogoyf
1 Terravore
1 Eternal Witness (works particularly well with your Volrath's Stronghold)
