U/R Illusions Donate

This could be a pretty fun blast-from-the-past deck. Use the old Illusions of Grandeur and Donate combo alongside newer cards like Bazaar Trader.
Thoughts anyone?

I think the concept is past its prime and doesnt warrant ressurection. Too many stifles and batterskulls around atm. Decks are faster and can race you despite the +20. But feel free to put a list up for critique.

If you were going to resurrect this deck, I agree that it would need an update.

Rather than Illusions of Grandeur, I would go for Immortal Coil.

I would make it B/R. B/U, or B/U/R, in order to take advantage of Bazaar Trader, Donate and disruption.

I would give a stock list as:

4x Thoughtseize

3x Lim Dul's Vault

But even then, it's really a 3 card combo (as they need to lose their g/y), which are just not that good in legacy. AND it's a bit pricey mana wise.

But that's the approach I would take!
On a side note, it would be readily equipped to fight dredge, reanimator, 4 horseman, and any other deck that requires it's graveyard to win. (and slow down gofy, snapcaster, 43lands, etc.)
