I have been fixated with Jace TMS's fateseal mechanic —both as a tool for controlling the game and as primary win condition. Clearly he's more powerful than anything I've seen printed on a MtG cardboard. No other card wins on its own with such capability and board presence. I have tried to fit him, well, in almost every control deck: UBg Landstill, UBg Pox, UB Stax. As time went on these decks have lost their funness but still I wanted to get more, like some sort of addiction that I couldn't get away from. I want to try something different. If there's one more shell that I think is fun to have him, it's in Mono-Red Devastation and this one I haven't tried.

A Jace dropped on an empty board is a very very dangerous threat.

Briefly tested 2 Obliterate (I'm a fan of the card) in the main. I was playing against blue and I pulled it off the top with Temporal Aperture. It completely erased the board when it resolved but I was in an awkward position since I have no Planeswalker out yet.
Afterthought -- I could have held onto the card without playing it with Aperture.
Played against an Emrakul deck. Him: Show and Tell + Emrakul, Me: drop Thran Dynamo. My turn, I cast Devastation. He might have used his counter on my Trinisphere (I think) and I ended up winning that match lol.

You can try Destructive Force instead of Burning of XinYe - Wildfire. Also 10 Wildfire/ Devastation effects are too much, you could cut 2 and play a couple of Eldrazis in those slots. Probably Ulamog, the infinite Gyre.

No love for Decree of Annihilation? Seems like a strong plan, with the option to cycle for Armageddon
Suggestions: Drop the Crater Hellions and two Thran Dynamo for four Fabricate, and remove the two Burning of Xinye for the Annihilations.
The Fabricate finds your non-Sorcery control elements faster, and the Annihilations also happen to hit hands and GYs, dealing with control and Dredge/Reanimator, as well as having splash damage for combo decks.

Get Intuition and more Walkers. Temporal Apeture is bad because most of the time, you'll waste 5 mana to hit a land or unnecessary acceleration. Copy Artifact can be really good, too, but why not have Grim Monolith and/or Volatic Key? Key is great with Dynamo/Lotus or the other artifacts for converting colorless mana. Monolith may be slow after the first activation, but it helps power out those high CC spells and Karn.

even though it might point slightly in the other direction, i think playing grim monolith and metalworker would be fun in here.
also metamorph is good here, as you can dynamo into metamorph. that will give u a huge ramp.

I would try using Grim Monolith and Voltaic Key for more colorless mana acceleration. Lotus Bloom may also not be bad since this deck does not seem to care about speed.

Bloom is terrible but you definitely need to find room for Grim Monolith. I played a very similar mono-red list for a long time and the deck has several turns where it just sits and can't do much and so you can easily untap monolith. The added speed to Grim is super important against Wasteland as if they waste your turn 1 Sol land, you can be slowed down by at least 2-3 turns and thats on a good draw

Jace TMS, so far, failed mainly because of the demand for u/r. The manabase felt strained and not fast enough for dropping teh_bombz if we are to stick with 4 fetch + 8 basics plan. Sandstone Needle is really what the deck needed. I don't think Volcanic Islands would solve the problem either. Another issue was the lack of maindeck answer to an opposing Jace, other than to legend-rule him with your own. Which kinda sucked. So Jace hit the chopping block, I upped Karn Liberated to (3) as I was impressed by his performance, his abilities work in concert with the Sweeper spells. Karn + an empty board, equally fun times.
Malboro Red - A Devastator.dec
// Lands
4 Ancient Tomb
4 City of Traitors
4 Sandstone Needle
8 Mountain
// teh_Bombz
3 Karn Liberated
3 Crater Hellion
4 Wildfire
4 Devastation
// Speed Bumps and Acceleration
4 Chalice of the Void
4 Trinisphere
2 Temporal Aperture**
4 Talisman of Impulse
4 Coalition Relic
4 Thran Dynamo
4 Gilded Lotus
On Temporal Aperture -- It's the most fun card in the deck. Although inconsistent at times, every activation thins out your library nonetheless, helping you draw more of your bombs irregardless.
Monolith + Key would work but you may have to sacrifice the Chalices, which is really great against some of the so-called tier decks (lol).

Since you need to manipulate your top card quite a bit due to temporal aperture, why dont you put in some library manipulation such as scroll rack and crystal ball.
edit: Nvm, just read it again =X. Didnt see the shuffle clause.
