If player A has a Phyrexian Crusader in play and Play B casts a Sun Titan with Pacifisim in the graveyard will player A's Phyrexian Crusader KEEP the Pacifism or will it fall off as a result of Protection?

I know Titan can place the enchantment onto the crusader but will it stay is the question.

Thanks for any/all help.

P.S. I tried finding a similar rule question... the closest was Akroma and Animate Dead and I know that isn't the same situation.

Sun Titan can return Pacifism into the battlefield. however in the situation you described where only Phyrexian Crusader (Pro:White) and Sun Titan are the only creatures; then your Sun Titan would be the only valid choice for Pacifism.

Protection for <entity> gives the card immunity from the following:
Damage from <entity>
Enchantments of type or color that match <entity>
Blocking with <entity>
Targeting from cards/effects of type <entity>

Which of these is the reason though?

Protection for <entity> gives the card immunity from the following:
Damage from <entity> (obviously not)
Enchantments of type or color that match <entity> (Possible)
Blocking with <entity> (Obviously not)
Targeting from cards/effects of type <entity> (Not a reason because you can place the pacifism on the Crusader because it doesn't target)

You're correct in that Pacifism doesn't target when it's put into the battlefield from outside the stack (targeting). However, it's not a valid choice to attach to Crusader because of protection. Enchantments need to have a valid choice in order to enter the battlefield; otherwise they cannot enter.

In the situation you described, Sun Titan is the only valid choice.

The classic scenario you described in PS (Akroma & Animate Dead) is slightly different:
Animate Dead enters play as "Enchantment - Aura", choosing a target creature card in a graveyard. Akroma is put into the battlefield, then Animate Dead attempts to attach to the creature; however since she has protection from black the attachment fails, and Animate Dead self-destructs attached to nothing at all. End result: Akroma enters/dies, Animate Dead in graveyard.

The Pacifism/Sun Titan/Crusader scenario would play out thus:
Sun Titan triggers targeting Pacifism. Pacifism enters play looking to attach to a creature. Only two choices are Crusader and Sun Titan; however Crusader has protection from Pacifism. Pacifism then attaches to the only remaining card it can legally attach to: Sun Titan.
