Play in our prerelease and get FREE pizza, a drink, and shots at a Sword of Fire and Ice, Snapcaster Mage, and a Wasteland!
Melrose Music & Comics is happy to announce our Dark Ascension Prerelease weekend!
To celebrate, every entrant will get FREE pizza. (While supplies last.) Also, we'll be giving away a Sword of Fire and Ice (http://magiccards.info/jr/en/56.html), Snapcaster Mage (http://magiccards.info/isd/en/78.html), and Wasteland (http://magiccards.info/tp/en/340.html)! (One card to first place in each of our three events.)
That's right: if even a single person attends each tournament, first place will receive a Sword of Fire and Ice (http://magiccards.info/jr/en/56.html), Snapcaster Mage (http://magiccards.info/isd/en/78.html), or Wasteland (http://magiccards.info/tp/en/340.html)!
We've remodeled the store and have increased our seating capacity to 60 players! (Up from 32)
We play swiss, which means every player plays every round. We may cap the number rounds at 5, depending on attendance and other factors.

Saturday, Jan 28th, 2012 at 10am sharp. (1st Place Prize Snapcaster Mage) - 10AM tournament will not have Pizza due to a lack of open pizza parlors at this time of day. We will instead serve doughnuts. Store opens at 9AM. This event is capped at 4 rounds.
Saturday, Jan 28th, 2012 at 3pm sharp. (1st Place Prize Wasteland)
Sunday, Jan 29th, 2012 at 1pm sharp. (1st Place Prize Sword of Fire and Ice)
Entry is $30, which includes 6 boosters (3 Dark Ascension & 3 Innistrad).
Prizes:
2 Dark Ascension boosters will be added to the prize pool for each player that attends each event. Every player also receives a foil alternate art Ravenous Demon / Archdemon of Greed (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/arcana/881) (while supplies last) just for playing!
