With a SCG Open coming to Arizona in April are there any stores hosting legacy tourneys in the Phoenix area right now? With that being said are there and legacy players in Arizona still?

Talk to ziveeman (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/member.php?2599-Ziveeman). I think he is currently trying to get more people in AZ to play legacy.

Thanks joseph :). Yeah I want the stores to push Legacy (but its tough since the PTQ for Modern is in March :() We get decent turnouts. Our last two AZMagicPlayer events had 17 players which wasn't too bad but it could be higher.

Rookies 2 Legends has a Legacy event Feb 11st, $25 for a Sealed box of Tempest. If you wanna borrow a deck, lemme know, I have plenty.

Pop Culture Paradise has Legacy on Sundays but they don't always fire (like I doubt it'll fire this Sunday), but there's always like 4-5 guys waiting for the magic number of 8. They have good prizing too - Feb 12 is a Taiga I think (for $5!).

Man, if only some of the Phoenix people had come down for the Tucson Legacy events, the attendance might have been good enough to keep them from getting cancelled...

24 people showed up at the GPT in Amazing D I heard, which is probably the highest since the AZMagicPlayers Legacy 500 (which only got 30...). I know you don't like that place, but its the best Tucson has for Legacy. Unfortunately there aren't too many alternative nowadays. Showtime gets a decent crowd too, maybe 10-12 players every Friday, sometimes more.

Myself and several people would go down to Magic Tower Games if we hear of Legacy events but I can't even find a website for them...Well schedule permitting. This semester has hit me particularly hard :(

Magic Tower stopped having them after losing too many people to Amazing D. Matt is still rather bitter about it.

19 people made it to rookies to legends to battle for a box of tempest. They have legacy action every Saturday and pop culture paradise has legacy every Sunday! We have to be able to revive Arizona legacy!

Yeah, we had 10 people last Sunday to play for a Force of Will at Pop Culture Paradise, which isn't too bad. Next week I think is an Arabian Nights City of Brass, then the next two weeks are playsets of Snapcaster Mages, which is awesome.

You should get pop culture to switch a tourney to Saturday ever once and awhile. I will never get a Sunday morning off....stupid brunch....
