What ever happened to the pages upon pages of trash talk in these? Now these Jupiter threads get over a thousand hits, and barely two pages of posts... This is just shy of two weeks away.

I'll be there, and be playing something other than Junk for the first time in two years...so I expect to do terrible. New deck, plus the fact that I'm a terrible Magic player...

No need to trash talk when you talk like that...

But I do expect to win this event. Playing something good for once instead of an untested night-before brew.

As always, I'll be there.

Maybe you should've left the Dismembers in your deck, you did better against me when you did.

Me & Bryant made top 8 but both lost in quarterfinals. I played angel stompy again and Bryant played TES again. I lost to mono-red sneak attack (awesome deck!) and Bryant lost to Maverick. Si-Ning Li made top 8 with English RUG again and lost in quarters to Dan Jordan playing RUG with Mongoose. Merfolk beat Zoo in the other quarter. Only 58 people this time for 6 rounds of swiss. I left at the beginning of the semis. I think they split the top 4 prize and played out for points/trophy.

What is it with Bryant getting dream crushed by forests? Mike did it, you did, this is becoming a rather hilarious habit...

What was the MonoRed Sneak Attack list?

It's a member of our testing group in Ithaca. He top 4'd with a similar list at Elmira about two weekends before. Here it was back then from the Elmira thread:

3rd-Henry Decker
1 lotus petal
4 simian spirit guide
4 seething song
11 mountain
4 sandstone needle
3 city of traitors
4 ancient tomb
4 emrakul the aeons torn
3 ulamog the infinite gyre
4 blightsteel colossus
3 pyromancy
3 through the breach
4 inferno titan
4 chalice of the void
4 sneak attack
SIDEBOARD
1 through the breach
1 pyromancy
2 red elemental blast
2 pyroblast
3 blood moon
3 ingot chewer
3 vocanic fallout

I know he changed the board around a little since then. He's actually been playing it since summer; he broke it back out since he had some changes to it.

I think he's been calling it Big(gest) Red.

Sweet! I have a set of Sneak Attacks I'm not using so I've been trying to develop a mono-red Sneak Attack list to put it to use. Good to see that it is actually pretty decent.
