Before Mental Misstep NO Bant was doing fairly well. During Mental Misstep everyone switched to NO RUG and that did fairly well. Now post-Mental Misstep it seems like no one is playing Natural Order anymore. Why is this?

Because it is no longer the flavor of the month.

Besides the flavor of the month thing, one could argue that Snapcaster and Delver have upped the removal density and speed of the formats best decks, making it hard to rely on small green creatures to survive until landdrop 4-6, and then waiting a few turns before winning of off the sorcery speed 4drop you tried to cast, with risc of carddisadvantage.
That being said, Natural Order is probably still not bad. I have chosen planeswalkers myself, recently, but hey.

It seems to me that the fall of Natural Order coincided with the rise of the U/W Blade decks. They were always good, but they've become especially prevalent recently.
The blade decks get their big threat out on roughly the same turn as a NO would go off but they have substantially more protection in terms of control spells than the NO decks have. Additionally, the Blade deck's big threat, Batterskull, has lifegain which, though it ends the game slower than a Progenitus would, helps keep them running strong during those extra few turns.

Running a deck with GSZ and NO in a meta where grafdigger's cage exists seems miserable to me.

Except tier Snapcaster decks aren't running those. Besides why wait turn 5 with NO when you can win on turn 3-4 with Burn or Dredge

You, sir, win this thread.

I still play NO BUG, although I haven't had the time to attend the local tournaments recently, which is too bad.
I should say, however, that the meta has become a little tougher for NO in recent months.

Why wait for turn 3-4 when you can win T2 with HiveMind?
Nah honestly - all this arguments are true - BUT you shouldnt really believe that the forums ARE magic - theyre just representing a big, doubtless big, community which are playing magic. And dont trust all this T8/16 lists too- Yesterday I clicked on a UW Stoneblade which placed 2nd and the list started with 4 Noble Hierarch, 4 Knight of the Relinquary... So yeah. Theres all a difference between real magic and the magic were talking about here.

I've played NO Bant to 36th place finish in GP Amsterdam. The deck certainly wasn't weak, but the thing is, Order was plain unnecessary. Without Misstep the games were mostly decided before you could cast an Order. Yeah, it was nice to close the game with it, but they would've been won with something generic as well. I only remember one match from the whole tournament that was won _strictly_ off Order. Not to mention I had to side it out at least half of the time. So, that's about it - not being worth running 5 cards, that don't really win you the game anymore. They just let you win faster (aka win-more).

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the insight. Natural Order does seem like win more a lot of the time. And it isn't "win immediately" so that's a problem too. It just feels kind of reassuring to have a 10/10 protection from everything ready to come in I guess.
I still see the NO Rug deck thread on this site. Is there still a NO Bant (or NO BUG) thread somewhere that I can't find for some reason?

I have been trying to get a playset of Natural Orders from MOTL for awhile now for my elves sideboard.
The way people are acting on that website, you would think Natural Order was still a Legacy staple.
