Hi Everyone,
I have a Legacy tournament this weekend for some pretty sweet prizes and at the last minute the store owner decided that it should be 2 headed giant. It's not unified, so teammates could play the same 75. I just wanted to get everyones opinion on what the best possible team configuration would be.
I'm currently thinking something like Monoblue or UB control and TPS with the idea being blue can protect TPS while it goes off. (you could also sub belcher for TPS etc.) I chose TPS Initially beacuse it 'goes off' a little slower which will give the blue team mate a little time to develope so they can adequately protect you.
Any advice and opinions are welcome.
Thanks,

If you're playing 40 life total then play Multiple Ad Naus copies to just draw it naturally and there really isn't a drawback. Have your partner on MonoUCounters.deck- Pact of Negation, Daze, FoW,Misdirection, Pierce, etc. You can play your own Pacts, as discard is not as good a plan against 2 decks, although Silence is great here since it hits both opponents.

Wouldn't something like Painter/Stone or Hive Mind be a bit easier to piece together then a double Storm count for 2 man?

Wrong Forum.
But playing Solidarity + Spring Tide seems like a viable option. Both builds running a playset of Twincasts to work off of each other.

I would have both players play solidarity. High Tides and storm helping both of you out seems pretty darn stupid.

One deck would be Belcher, a deck routinely capable of dealing 40 damage on the first turn.
And this would be my second deck:
4 Force of Will
4 Misdirection
4 Pact of Negation
4 Orim's Chant
4 Silence
4 Daze
4 Dispel
4 Spell Pierce
4 Lotus Petal
4 Serum Powder
4 Chancellor of the Annex
4 Tundra
12 blue fetchland
What could possibly beat that?

Me and the homies do this on MTGO all the time. The only thing that beats Storm/Belcher with MonoUCounter.deck is Team Staxx if they win the roll.
I think the rules state that you can not have more than 4 copies of a card combined between you.

In my experience with a similar situation there may be one other competent team there and every other team will be duds. I went to one such event way back in the day, I played Angry Tradewind Survival my teammate played UW Wizard control (Specially made for 2hg support role 4x FoW, 4x Meddling Mage, 4x Counterspell, 4x Voidmage Prodigy, 4x Patron Wizard, 2/3x Moat, Brainstorm, fetches/duals, I think there was some other form of counters, maybe some Nev Disk, maybe Stifles, I forget the whole deal). We easily won vs. the only other real deck in the finals.

Bummer. There goes the 2xMono Black Aggro with 8 Bad Moons plan.
Could 2 x Slivers or Alies work or are there too few worth playing?

Imperial painter + control or Imperial painter without grindstone and blue control with grindstone + stiflenought and trinket mage package? Would essentially be playing 2 control decks with a combo kill, Blood moons, and dreadnought package which IMO sounds pretty sweet.

Clearly someone didn't read the OP?
