If Jupiter keeps sucking like they have been. I'll start making your event my monthly trip. I know other people from Syracuse feel the same way.

What has been wrong with the Jupiter events?

If Adam starts going, I'll try even harder to make it Dan.
As for this event, I'm going to see if I can get someone to cover for me at work so I can go. I haven't been to one of Mythic's Legacy events since the first one...

This isn't the place to really talk about this but I'll say a few things.
When Eli owned part of the store the trade in value was alway 75% and 60% in cash. The last fee times ive traded in stuff I haven't got 75% on the cards I traded in. Anyone that knows me knows all my cards are nm-m
I've also asked for cards and was told to come back a little later. When people are trying to give a store money and they get told to "come back later" that's not good.
You can also bring up the Dec tournament also. Changing the prizes a week before the tournament.
I know I'm not the only Syracuse player to see this stuff happening and I wouldn't be shocked if some of us stop coming to Jupiter.

I mean fair enough but the problem is they are still working out the kinks with their new location. I can't comment on the buying prices but I have always found them to be fair. Where you travel is obviously completely up to you. I know of players who go to both.

I love how you feel cheated when you dont get 75% trade in value.
No place around here gives more than 50% cash or 60% Trade.
I WISH I could have my local store be this involved in legacy, as well as give such great value for trading in cards.

This.
In any case; there will be an Erie car up next week to go 0-2 drop in STYLE.

^^This.
Great store, great crowd, fun event. There will be an Erie car every time we can get one together--hopefully every month--and maybe someday someone will top8, even.
Probably not me. I'm going to keep being loud and obnoxious and buying bad foils/being confused by simple games of dice. But someone from Erie will succeed one day in Elmira.
Anyway; thanks for being awesome.

Karen played a lot of my friend's, so I watched her play quite a bit(That's my story and I'm sticking to it) She played very well for someone who is new to Legacy. With practice, I could see her in the top 8. No offense Coraz, I just didn't see you play.

Thanks for backing me up, man, she doesn't believe me when I tell her that. I really think she will too. (No offense taken on my end, the way I played I'm grateful to have finished 3-2-1, although grad school is seriously cramping my playtest time.)
I'm kind of disappointed that I missed/failed to recognize you, I like putting faces with Source handles. I was the dude in the Behemoth shirt with the major sleep-deprivation face who kept having to explain (with increasing dismay) what Cursed Scroll does; my Scrolls are Asian, and nobody told me they weren't good anymore.

I was the guy with the Source playmat, you commented on it.
I was also one of the three guys who appeared behind the counter(The other two being Store Owner/TO Dan(MythicGames on here, who'da thought?) the other guy was the mountain of rippling sexy that is Poptart(who is not on here since he's a Standard/Casual player)

Thank you much. Coraz is the one who taught me to play magic in general. I've only been playing since August. This is only my second legacy event. I was quite nervous. I make a LOT of stupid mistakes. I appreciate the positive reinforcement, a lot of times I feel like I'm over my head, but I enjoy it so I keep doing it.

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying.
I really should get one of those shirts with my handle on it that people used to wear to Source events. Except it'll probably be a Chicago Bulls jersey/shirt.

Was a seriously good time last weekend! I hope to make my way up way more often. School is a bit of a wrench in my Magic availability, but always a good time up at Mythic! I'm just mad Dan didn't have the last 8 cards I need for my Elf list- no bueno [sadface]
2/3/0, next time X/0 to the number one spot!
