Minion of the Wastes
What is this card's power while in the graveyard?

I checked the web but did not find anything conclusive besides oracle updates.
From what I've read on Sewer Nemesis and Sutured Ghoul, I'm assuming the answer is 0 because of the choice being made as it enters the battlefield.

And while I'm asking... Multani, Maro-Sorcerer works like Lord of Extinction in that exiling it as the 2nd creature absorbed by Mimeoplasm typically gives you a non-zero number unlike the previously listed cards right?
Thanks!

Current oracle:

Trample

As Minion of the Wastes enters the battlefield, pay any amount of life.

Minion of the Wastes's power and toughness are each equal to the life paid as it entered the battlefield.

Characteristic-defining abilities work in all zones, but Minion of the Wastes' P/T will only be defined on the battlefield since that's the only time the information will be there. In all other zones, it will be unavailable and treated as zero.

Multani and Lord of Extiction are examples of CDAs that aren't dependent on information that only exists when they're in a certain zone.

208.2a. The card may have a characteristic-defining ability that sets its power and/or toughness according to some stated condition. (See rule 604.3.) Such an ability is worded "[This creature's] [power or toughness] is equal to . . ." or "[This creature's] power and toughness are each equal to . . ." This ability functions everywhere, even outside the game. If the ability needs to use a number that can't be determined, including inside a calculation, use 0 instead of that number.

Its power and toughness is 0/0 in all zones outside the battlefield, and is set when it would enter the battlefield with a life payment.
