Hey
Here is the new deck i'm working on. I really think slivers have a potential in the meta game legacy.

4 sinew sliver
4 muscle sliver
4 plated sliver
3 phantasmal image
4 winged sliver
1 harmonic sliver
4 crystalline sliver

4 aether vial

4 brainstorm
4 swords to plowshares
3 eladamri's call

4 mutavault
17 land blue green and white (11 fetchs, 3 basics and 3 bilands)

Side
3 cursed totem (maverick / bant)
4 tormod
4 leyline of sanctify (rock, pox, burn and storm)
4 ethersworn canonist (storm)

I think a full aggro is the right direction to take with the slivers at the moment : a counterslivo with fow and daze is too weak against the others decks.

The matchs up : the worst is burn, bant and maverick are pretty good, merfolk is quite difficult because the mirror of mutavaults, tempo thresh and ugr tempo are a joke (crystalline wins), dredge is very difficult without side, réanimator and show and tell are pretty good (thanks vial and image) and storm... well there is the side for storm :-)

I agree that FoW is a bad choice, as it is with most tempo decks. I would however not underestimate the power of Spell Snare or Spell Pierce in the current meta. The one glaring omission I can see is the lack of reach which could put you in a tough situation vs a lot of control builds.

I had a friend who played Meathooks for a while and struggled with the 3 colour mana base. It constantly got torched by wasteland and stifle, the latter is not being played that often right now so it's not such a big deal.

I always found the three colour mana base difficult and converted my deck into a fun 5 colour deck with all the Lords. I think this would be better off in the Counter Sliver thread as a revival since it is not really a new deck.

Honestly, Slivers make a fairly lousy aggro deck. Power creep has made any type of tribal synergy-aggro fairly irrelivant. Elves is best utilized as a combo primary win and an aggro secondary, only in time of need. Goblins is fairly unpopular right now due to poor showings. It might come back to tier 1, but it's definately at least 1.5-2. Merfolk is still a contender that pops in and out of DTB-status...but it plays a counter-sliver game with Force, Daze, and Cursecatcher. Not to mention that both Gobbos and Fish, regardless of tier status, are much more aggressive than meathooks...and they don't need the 2 other colors to support them, ergo they don't lose to Wasteland.

When Zoo can drop 3/3's for :g:, hasted 2/2's for :r:, 2/3's for :r: or :w:, a potential 4/5 for :w:, and 4/5's or bigger for :1::g: it makes slivers look pretty bad.
