I sold a big chunk of cards to a buy list. I am planing to invest in some tundras, underground seas, blue onslaught fetches jaces ect.... I can get 1000 in cash and try to find deals on ebay and friends and stuff or I can get 1300 in store credit. Whats the optimal line to take on this one can I save 300 if I shop around.

I imagine the answer depends on what prices this particular store applies.

Is the stores prices 30% or more expensive then ebay? If they're not, take the storecredit. It might also be worth something that you doesn't need to shop around and without the added risk of ebay.
And also depends on their inventory. If you can get a bunch of stuff together it would be easier to gather a bunch of stuff from all around the place. From having experienced some remote purchase problems myself I think it's important to consider the shipping costs with each seperate buy and the credibility of each deal you find. Sometimes you might want to pay $10 extra per blue dual and getting a whole playset from a single reliable vendor than chasing after 10$ cheaper ones from all around the place while still paying shipping for each and taking the risks of lost packages etc.
If they have a decent inventory where you can find everything you're looking for and the prices are not over inflated I'd say take the store credit and just get them from a single reliable source.

Remember that even though store prices tend to be higher than ebay, if you're looking into getting a large quantity of cards you may end up coming out on top going with a store just because of shipping overhead.
Also it depends on whether you're ok with waiting to get a good price on an auction, or just want your cards now.
