Using Venser to bounce Flashback cards

Snapcaster Mage flashes back a card which goes on the stack. Opponent uses Venser, Shaper Savant to bounce the flashback spell on the stack. Does the flashback card go back to the player's hand or is it exiled?

Edit: Just got the answer:

"If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack."

Yep, you got it. It's very difficult to get a flashbacked spell to go anywhere but exile - about the only thing you can do is set up a competing replacement effect.
