Two Questions involving Trinisphere.

1) If there is a trinisphere in play and someone casts shattering spree, in order to replicate it 2 times would it still just cost a total of RRR or 3 for the first and RR for the two copies?

2) If there is a trinisphere and a thorn of amethyst in play, a swords to plowshares would cost 3W?

1. RRR. Trinisphere sees that 3 was payed for Shattering Spree.

2. 2W. Cost modifiers are applied thus: cost increasers, then cost reducers, then cost setters.

Replicate "cost” is treated as additional cost to cast the spell. No need to pay more than RRR (2 replicates) under a Trinisphere since the total mana cost paid is three.

Trinisphere is a unique effect - it's the only one like it. Trinsphere applies after the total cost is calculated, which includes all additional costs and reductions.
