"The most broken cards in the game are Black Lotus, Time Walk and Ancestral Recall. But everybody likes blue decks because they are so powerfull, start lamenting about those and you’ll get hanged, I have a rope right next to me in case someone wants to come over."

I'm um... assuming the part about hanging people is some sort of lost in translation thing?

Very nice read. Thanks!

Was this done in person, or over email?

The text was original written in English. How I see this "rope" thing is a fine and cute sarcasm over Dredge vs Blue comparison in the format.

In short: People in Vintage complain a lot about Bazar of Baghdad, Ichorid and Dredge in general. And he makes a pararllellism with Lotus, Ancestral or Walk. But everybody likes blue. So if you complain about how broken Ancestral is you will get hanged. As he has been hanged for playing Ichorid soooo many times he can share his rope with you :)

By mail. But we have done some interviews in person, recording them and then transcripting and formating them.

You can find more interviews here:
