I like playing different decks (almost) every week and I was wondering what decks people think everyone should play at least once. I'm mainly looking for ones that are randomly fun and not necessarily top tier (though good decks that look fun are ok).

Already Played:
Battle of Wits

Planning to Play:
Spanish Inquisition (also various other Storm decks)
Nourishing Lich
TurboFog
Shared Fate (work in progress)

Anything that has all 4 Imperial Recruiters in it. I only have ever had two at one time. : (

Same goes for Grim Tutors.


I think I've actually played everything else at one time or another.

A legacy legal Parfait deck (Land Tax+Scroll Rack) (Though I do have the deck, its not just legal)

Nourishing Lich has been threatened by me for a while now. I've told myself that the only way I'll buy a regular Lich is if it is $10 or less. I had one and someone offered me $30 for it, so I'm back to 0 of them toward this. I'll still acquire them for that price (beat to all get out is acceptable) but I won't pay more than that.

I would also play Battle of Wits, but they must be foil. If I'm going to play something that dumb it has to be foil.

BTW - if a Helix Pinnacle wins a game, it must be retired...and signed by the person who lost to it.

I'd love to play something with Recruiters but I don't see that happening unless they reprint it.

All of my Battle of Wits are signed like that. They're non-foil Odyssey but each one has multiple signatures. I've only had 1 person decline to sign it when I beat him.

I am tempted to make every viable tier 1.5 / tier 2 level deck in the format, from ANT & TES, to sneak & show, spanish inquisition, to cheeri0s & heck maybe even bomberman!

I vote you push spanish inquisition / turbofog, those would be fun to watch, though wouldn't one form of turbofog from an argument, just be "moat + humility" ? lol
