Reconnaissance can be used with:
1) give pseduo-vigilance
2) combat tricks
3) ComboKill with Goblin Sharpshooter (building a RW as we speak..)
4) Generate infinite mana (in combat-step)
5)....
Those was just some interactions on top of my head. What else can we use it for?

I don't think that anything from this list will work since the creature gets removed from combat and can not be removed further on for not beeing counted as an attacker anymore.

Attack with goblin sharpshooter, put 20 (or w/e) triggers on the stack, and after every trigger you get to shoot 1.
That should work, doesn't it?

I'm pretty sure that after the ability resolves the first time, the creature is no longer attacking and therefore isn't eligible to be "removed" from combat again.

Yep, that's what I was trying to point out.
You might be able to but a bazillion activations on the stack, but that doesn't prevent the ability from getting countered on resolution because the creature is not an attacker after the 1st resolution from Reconnaissance .
Reconnaissance targets an attacking creature. Once the creature gets removed from combat it is no longer attacking and thus no longer a legal target for Reconnaissance so the additional triggers will be countered on resolution.

Oh well, makes sense. Shame it didn't worked.
