Exalted + Spike Feeder

Exaulted gives +1/+1 till eot do they count as counters for instance I have three Noble Heiarchs in play I swing with a spike feeder with two counters on it. Can I remove the three +1/+1s or not?

No, if it would give the creatuer a +1/+1 counter, it would explicitly state that.

The +1/+1 from exalted is not a counter.
