What is your dream legacy deck, right now?

This is not really about a bucket list, but more of a "If you had access to ALL legacy legal cards, what would you play today?"

What is that deck you just wish you could sleeve up and proudly slap down at a huge, local, legacy event?

Yeah, Battle of Wits would be awesome, if only because if you got carpal tunnel from shuffling you could break it up and make like, 6 other decks.

that crazy new Doomsday deck. For me, there's nothing more dreamy than having an incredibly complicated puzzle, unique to scope of each game, standing between me and the win/loss. Forever to master = Dreamboat status.

Very nice call on Angry trade wind survival... That brings back some great memories!!

The reason I started this thread is because I want some of the wall ideas to play with.

Believe it or not, someone already beat me to the battle of wits plan and has been playing it locally.

Also, I'm a little bit played out on the recruiter ideas right now, but I love some Aluren once and a while!

I think lands might be dream deck of the week for me... Unless someone else has a better idea ;)

Probably the Rock deck I'm already playing, except with Scrublands instead of the current budget Godless Shrines. Although, if I really had access to all Legacy cards, I'd test the hell out of different versions!

The other thing I'm eyeing is a WUR fish deck that is fast, consistent, and sweet

When I first started playing eternal Magic it was Vintage. Back in 2006 I think. Me and a Friend decided to try the most unfair things that we knew. He played Stax,I played TPS. Since the early days of Storm Combo the Decks have been a blast for me. I do like unfair comboish things in general -> take a look at my signature. Those are my suggestions for playing fun things. Just ignore your opponent. :>

But it would look oooh so sick! I had a lot of alters from Poxy earlier, but sold the alters when i started playing Legacy instead of EDH, somehow i only had altered cards that were irrelevant or banned in legacy -.-.

I know right :-/ I have 12 cards altered at the moment (The Tutors/Wishes/Chromes are done by Laura VonWei), and it's killing me!

My other deck, Dredge, is 71/75 foiled... so I think I'm just gonna finish that one first. Then debate the 1k+$ I'll likely need to invest on the alters.

Someone on eBay has a set of German bb Scrublands for $650, free shipping. It's a seller I've worked with before, I can trust her, and it's all I need for my pet deck, but it's hard to spend a paycheck on four cards when you're on unemployment.

While purchasing Magic cards you realize how much excessive expenditures you have because even though you buy cards when you think you don't have any money, you still manage to survive. So it means you've been spending money on things you can definitely live without when you need to "squeeze the belt" :)

And for my dream deck.. It's a Vintage Jace-Mana Drain deck which also spawns 20-30 people weekly Vintage tournaments in the closest LGS when you rub the deck like Aladdin's lamp.
