I have a question about how the card Goryo's Vengeance works with Arcanis the Omnipotent .

Basically, I have a reanimator style deck (for modern, hence the use of Goryo's), and using Arcanis as a card advantage engine (because of some card availability issues I've been having with Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur ) But, because the deck has blue mana in it anyway, I was wondering - If I goryo's, bringing back Arcanis, Draw my 3 cards, and then before he would be exiled bounce him to my hand, does he avoid being exiled?
I know some cards like Gruesome Encore Specifically have ways around this, but because Goryo's does not have anything specifically against this in it's card text, I'm unclear as to weather he would still be exiled, or if the bounce saves him from taking a journey to nowhere.

The target of Goryo's Vengeance would only become exiled if the delayed trigger resolved while the target was still on the battlefield.

Moving Arcanis to a different zone before that trigger will not force it to become exiled.

Arcanis is not exiled because the object Goryo's Vengeance is trying to exile no longer exists. That resolved creature is gone and now it is a card in your hand.

Whenever an object changes zones - even for a brief instant like with Cloudshift - it becomes a completely new object and any references to the former object are no longer valid.
