Legacy events are starting to fire again on MODO. Tonight had 17 people; the first time someone has had a bye in an event in months.
To keep the momentum going, here is the schedule (in Eastern US time)
Wednesday: 8:30 PM
Thursday: 12:30 PM, 11:30 PM
Friday: 6:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM, 7:30 PM
Sunday: 1:30 PM, 8:30 PM
Monday: 9:30 PM
Tuesday: 6:30 AM, 10:30 PM
Some of them are at reasonable times. Saturday through Thursday have evening times, and are the ones that most frequently fire.
Hope to see you on MODO!

I streamed this daily, and will be streaming tomorrow as well. Spoiler, I went 2-2 with a bye, although I could've won both losses.

Your deck seems cool, but can you improve the quality of the replay/stream?

I'd love to play, but I only got a Pauper Deck anymore :-/
Still, good to see Legacy back on track. Although I guess it's mostly due to the MOCS thing, isn't it? Nevertheless, GO LEGACY!

I really need to remember to get in on these. I play Death and Taxes in pape magic so getting it online wasn't that expensive. Wastelands are still painfully expensive though. Either way, I suppose this is as good a time as any to use modo for something that isn't drafting.
You guys made it easy for me tonite...
In the finals right now with Mr _ShipItHolla

I own absolutely no Legacy Cards on MTGO, but I'm moving to the middle of nowhere, Japan, so I might buy in when I get internet set up in my house.

Not to derail, but...
What's the best way to get into MTGO Legacy or Classic or whatever it's called? Is Death & Taxes the most reasonable deck to buy into, from a $$ perspective?
Find a deck you like playing for an extended period of time, then buy it. There's no point in buying a budget deck if the ultimate goal is to play something more powerful.

Elves! is pretty cheap while being super competitive if played right. Two weeks ago I built the entire deck (excluding Cradles, which are about 24 tix each) for about 75 tix.

Sporting full Forest manabase and Pacts instead of Zeniths it's even less, and i'm having quite some succes with it in 2-mans during the past weeks, i'll join a daily if one pops up when i have time for sure :)

Having never played MTGO but now living in China, I'm thinking this is as good a time as any to break into it. Playing on Workstation or Cockatrice scares me.
Decks I usually play IRL: Zoo, Bant, BUG control, BUG tempo Team America, TES.
I think LED and FoW are the most expensive cards online but I know that at some point I'll have to pull the trigger on them.
I was asking the question more from the point of view of: buy in cheaply, see what decks others play + whether I hate playing with the interface, then buy in when the time's right. Whether I want to tolerate the (allegedly) terrible online interface is the one thing I'm not sure about.
I do know that although it's cheap to build, I just can't stand any tribal deck. So that's what led me to think about D&T.
/train of thought
I echo what I posted in the other thread - if you need a player and have a deck to lend feel free to pm me.
