We're closing in on the Season 1 Championship for the Philadelphia Legacy Series!

Season 1 of the PLS (Philadelphia Legacy Series)
May 19th - Legacy for $1,000 at Top Deck Games in Westmont, NJ (www.topdeckgamesonline.com)
June 9th - Legacy for $1,000 at Alternate Universes, in Blue Bell, PA (www.alternateu.com)
July 22nd - Legacy for $1,000 at Redcap's Corner, in Philadelphia, PA (www.redcapscorner.com)
August 25th - Season Championship for a Playset of Duals at Top Deck Games in Westmont, NJ


Event Details:
Date: Saturday, August 25th, 2012
Time: Doors open at 11:00am (as does Registration), Round 1 begins at 12:00pm!
Entry Fee: $30
Format: Legacy
REL: Competitive (Decklists required)

Prizes (Guaranteed no matter how many players we get):
1st Place: 1st AND 9th pick of dual land playsets.
2nd Place: 2nd AND 10th pick of dual land playsets.
3rd Place: 3rd pick
4th Place: 4th pick
5th - 8th Place: 5th-8th pick

Swiss standings will determine your final placing if you end up 3rd-4th or 5th-8th place.

The play/draw rule will be in effect (higher seeded player gets choice of play/draw in the single elimination rounds).

Is there a chance of extending some prize support to Top 16 in the event of a huge number of people showing up?

Using eBay completed listing values, I estimate the prize pool to be about $2500.

It would take 83-84 players for TDG to break even and this is not counting the players with free entry.

Sorry Matt, looks like a no unless we get something crazy like 100 players.
