I've spent a bunch of time using the DCI search feature for local tournaments, and cannot find sanctioned Legacy being offered in my area - it looks like all FNMs are Standard, Sealed or Draft, and no announced Sundays/Weeklys are showing up.

Any tips for how to find the local scene? I'm specifically in the SF/Bay Area, but also just curious in general what other tools or options there are to help search.

Superstars (CFB store) in San Jose host monthly legacy tourney and there are about 20-30 people show up each month. The next one will be on 8/26.

A group of player in SF also have a facebook group page. They usually meet in SF downtown every 2 weeks to play legacy and prep for superstars. The link of the page is in my sig. Feel free to check it out.

Beside CFB, there aren't much legacy going on in the bay area unless there are some special events (GPT, GP side event, SCG open, etc).

Those are the only formats FNMs are allowed to be.

We had Legacy FNM for a few month in our LGS, but reported as extended. So it is possible ;)
