(Alert: i'm argentinian, this post is written in SPANGLISH!!!)

I think the best way to play Aggro Elves nowadays, it's like a mix of the other tribals deck in the format, and the addition of the best cards of the new expansion RTR.

Firt of all: Aether Vial

then:
- A bunch of lords, (archdruid, imperious, champion) and disruption (cabal therapy, abrupt decay) like merfolks do, with loa, loa 2.0, reejerey, and counters/bouncers

- Utility/Situational/Wincon, elves, like sylvan safekeeper, quirion ranger, ezuri renegade leader like gobbos do with sharpshooter, gempalm, skirk prospector, krenko, SGC...

And Sylvan messenger, a powerful draw engine, like gobbos do with Ringleader

The beta B/G list i'm trying now is

Creature: 22
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 Imperious Perfect
4 Elvish Archdruid
4 Sylvan Messenger
2 Elvish Champion

Creatures Tools: 5

2 Quirion Ranger
1 Sylvan Safekeeper
1 Ulvenwald Tracker
1 Ezuri Renegade Leader

Artifact: 4
4 Aether Vial

Sorcery: 7
4 Green Sun Zenith
3 Cabal Therapy

Instant: 4
3 Abrupt Decay
1 Crop Rotation

Lands: 18
3 Misty Rainforest
3 Verdant Catacombs
4 Bayou
4 Wasteland
2 Gaea's Cradle
1 Cavern of Souls
1 Forest
1 Dryad Arbor

Sideboard:
(Under construction...)
5 NO package
2 Umezawa's Jitte
2 Thougthseize
3 Surgical Extraction
3 Diabolic Edict

RTR cards:

Deathrite Shaman: This guy is awesome!, usually a Tarmogoyf with three activated abilities... Fetchs, Wasteland (auto-waste too), Sylvan Safekeeper, Ulvenwald Tracker, Cabal Therapy, Abrupt Decay, feed him like a boss. And Quirion abuse his abilities

Abrupt Decay: When you draw it, you look the card, then you look the table, then you look the card again, you do that in an infinite loop, till you say yeaaaaahh..

Any suggestion?
Sideboard?
is Sylvan Messenger a little weak with 34 Non-Elf cards? (i think not)

I think the problem with this version of elves is that it is just a bad merfolk deck.

The lords in merfolk are 2cc which makes all of the difference.
Silvergill adept -> Wren's run too.

Combo elves can consistently go off by turn 4 at the latest. I don't think this deck could goldfish a win before turn 5-6.

I think this was true before the latest expansion,

but now, with GSZ, deathrite shaman, abrupt decay, the threat density is much greater to what could be in previous lists.

- The 3cc Lords we have, are in quality, better than merfolks lord. They can win games, if they are not answered on time

- Wren's Run Vanquisher, turned out to be a pleasant surprise in this deck archetype... she is a HUGE body for 2cc, that can swing alone, and leave the enemy in 10 life. And the Ulvenwald Tracker tech, is awesome versus unfair creatures, like GriselBargain, and Emrakul

- The discard suite, helps us quite against combo .. and the new shaman, is excelent versus cemetery and burn decks

Admittedly, the deck does not have the speed of merfolks nor the late game engine of the goblins, but possesses a blend of the two, and some mini-combos that can surprise an unsuspecting over.

i tested versus aggro decks (without sideboard, I must admit), and the results were

Goblins: 6-0 (the Anti-Lackey Shaman, and Abrupt Decay Were the MVP)
Affinity: 4 -1 (the Ulvenwald Tracker + Wren Run Vanquisher tech is great, mana screw in the game lost)
Monoblack: 3-0 (he never could control the high level of threats)
Merfolks: 2-2 (a well played Fow may complicate)

Today:
Tested vs:

RUG Delver: 2-2 (the mana base is a little weak)
Deadguy Ale: 1-2 (Lords, and Wren Run's Vanquisher makes de Deck, not to fragile vs Jitte, and Enginereed Plague)
