Report on how I won the Legacy League in Mi Tesoro Madrid.
I decided to play and unfair deck who plays manipulation and low mana cost spells to Put into play big unfair creatures that makes you easy win the game. You don’t have to think. Only have A creature, petal, Sol land, Show and tell and counter back up every round to win with this no brainer.
1st Round
I fuck my opponents Stone shit girls 2-0
2nd Round
I smash my opponents lilt tempo creatures with my lot bigger ones 2-0
3rd Round
My opponent puts me in four and fucks me with his NO let play cards. 1-2
4th Round
I made scrap of my opponens card with afinity to fucking him 2-1
5th Round
I drew like a god and… U know? I fucked him!
Top 4
Playing to many nonbasic lands cost my opponent the 2nd and 3rd game and he ends up fucked
Finals
I briber my opponent so that I win the tournament and we both are able to go home without playing.
This was only a joke report not matching the reality, sorry if it has hurt someone. Was only to get a smile from the reader^^. Here is a better but not funnier report. Enjoy^^
This was the last tournament of the Legacy league of Mi Tesoro in Madrid and until last event I was 1st in point but after making 1-3 drop with a Cascade BUG deck I failed to the second place on the general ranking. So this event I needed to top to get my position back. I was usually playing last month’s Miracles Countertop with great results but now with abrupt decay I was unsure about it. The usual thing is that the next day its legal people didn’t have tested the card or haven’t get it. But I preferred no to risk, so I Played my all-star deck Sneak and Show. The good thing about this deck is when I play it I ever end toping or at least positive. And for this event I need to make point yes or yes was perfect.
So I woke up one hour before the event and waited for my friend Ropero at home. He arrived 20 min before the event starts and we pick from my boxes the cards he will need for his dark blade deck (I don’t like this deck). He finished 1-2-2 complaining why he go to time out so much with this deck and not with counterbalance, who is usually slower. I explain that with blade your opponent is able to fight every turn. But with counterbalance combo on table the turns go really fast because its only draw go usually and Entreat gives you a flash speed to win in one turn. At the event he build from the bunch of cards he took the deck and I sleeved my deck in. Wrote deck list because my printer didn’t worked and this was the list I give for this event.

I was testing back Progenitus due to the amount of Karakas on the metagame and because of the more played Oblivion Ring and the new Sphere (or Angel of Despair WTF?). At first I tested playing 3 Grisel 3 Emmy 2 Progy but some games I wished to ba able to intuition into Progy so at the end I played 61 cards playing 3 of each so I can intuition them and usually side one of the worst of them out in some matchups. I also side usually the Intuitions out most of the time.
The overmaster of my thoughts are better than the misdirection I played before because you cannot have the easy pitch of 4 progys now transformed in the dark avarice demon. And the good thing is that vs. agro it’s a cantrip for R and vs. control you have to make your counter war with this not losing your business spell for later. It’s like a chant of Orim in a TES deck. Then sometimes you can force a counter war for this without having business spell only to use it as a cantrip because you have 2 of them or so. And force a counter war and then cast sneak attack or show and tell into sneak attack. With this card you get lot of information, like when u cantrip it and you opponent says ok that he has nothing or so. Because of playing this 3 red cards I cuted the 9th fetch for the 4th Volcanic with this I will have more red sourced.
At the beginning I wanted to play instead of the 3 blood moon 2 pithing needle but playing back Progenitus makes pithing needle into karakas worse than the sometime auto win blood moon (lands, bug, Canadian and a lot more non basic lands avarice decks).
Thought the breach was vs combo and aggressive decks to go faster or play around pithing needle vs. reanimator.
Clique was really good eot of my opp turn 3 to get information and get rid of counters. Or kill them cause they take out the removal. Combo and control is where this top 5 creature fly’s.
Pyro and Reb was vs. control or blue combo usually I changed vs. control all 4 petals for the vendilion and this.
Graffidiger vs. the horrible reanimator and dredge matchup.
Echoing truth is a card that I love. Vs agro or control or mostly any deck its reaaaaaly good. Think lot of time to take it out but in the end I never do. This is too good and gave me a ton of games.
Now the report (I will mostly not remember everything right but…):
1st round Blade
1st game he makes land drop every turn until turn 8 or so where he plays a Jace which I let enter because I played a ponder and next turn I’m going to win. He brainstorms and I play a show and tell into Griselbrand. He has 0 Counters so it enters and I pass turn. He bounces with Jace I Draw 7 or 4 IDK and win 2 turns later.

2nd Game I play a sneak attack without creatures and we play draw and go for some turns me holding some counter and another sneak attack. When he has 7 lands he plays stoneforge into battleskull then plays the equipment I pierce it and he scoops?!?!?!
2nd round vs Canadian
1st game he starts with volcanic ponder I fetch and ponder too seeing Show, Pierce and Petal. My hand has 1 emmy, 1 show, 1 tomb, 1 petal. I let pierce on top and petal under it. Draw the pierce and play the petal of my hand. He taps out for brainstorm fetch mongoose or so. I play the Petal and the tomb to show and tell. He forces I sac a petal and pierce he dazes I pay and Dazes another time so my show is countered. He has 2 lands in hand 1 more card. Draws activates though the scour to make his mungo 3/3 and I play show and tell again and win with the flying spaghetti monster.

2nd game In mid game he has mungo 1/1 and tarmo ¾ I play overmaster and show and tell into Griselbrand being at 10 life. He cantrips a lot. I swing for being at 17, He lightning’s (14) Attacks for 5 (9) summons another mungo I attack (16) and he attacks another time now for 10 (6). I re attack and win.
3rd Round vs. Countertop
1st game I lands a 2dn turn top and 3rd turn counterbalance. I show and tell with fow backup and he cracks fetch finding cost 3 so I never do anything else. I also make a missplay having a land in hand I played sneak atack or show and tell and get spellpierced. This could have beed avoided by playing the land. Missplaying sometines cost games :(

2nd game I manage to win due to mistakes of him drawing ot of cards with Grisel and beating down.
3rd game he surgicals eot of my turn 3 my brainstorm seeing a land, progy, grisel, show and sneak. Then he plays his 4th land wich is a karacas, I feel littl fucked until he cracks fetch and plays a jace who fate seals me putting the card on bottom (I had a fetch in play) This says that he has more likely 2 fows in hand. I didn’t draw a counter and play the sneak attack. He fows and I lose ta vendilion clique beating me down at the same time jace fate seals me. After the game I asked and he had only 1 Fow in hand. That means that if I draw one of my 11 Counters I win :( bad move gone luckily right.
4th round vs. affinity
1st game knowing I play vs. affinity I keep on the draw: 2 fow, brainstorms, ponder, emrakul, ancient tomb, and show and tell. Knowing I can force 2 of his cards (cranial) and gain some turns having 19 blue sources in the deck that win me the game. 8 turns later the only land I drew was the random mountain and lose.

2nd game I make tomb petal intuition into 3 progenitus having another intuition, fetch, fow and show and tell. Then showed my progy and win.
3rd game he makes turn 2 revoker into show and tell ¿WTF? And on my turn 2 I show and tell a fatty and win.
5th round vs. Top thopters
Show and telling here is risky I know he plays at least one bridge main and one humility plus some may be in board. And this is the player which is now 1st of the league, so I have to beat him off the top!.
1st game I have good hand with counters, creature and mana but no enablers. In my 3rd turn I show and tell and he counters it and then next turn I rip a sneak attack from the top and win.
Side like round 1
2nd game I have echoing truth, fow, show and tell, mana and counters. I Rip turn 2 the griselbrand from the top and resolve it knowing that if he has bridge/humility I can bounce it. Then he kills grisel in some way but 14 cards are a lot to beat me and the next turn all 3 fatty’s attack him.
In my 3 control games in some g2/3 I played longer having to counter jace, vendilion and something, but didn’t remember. And I most of them I played turn 3/4 my vendlion to win next turn. In one game I remember I had 2 volcanic 2 island and a city of traitors, eot I vendilion him he fows and then I vendilion him again to secure his demise.
I enter 3rd of top so quite good. But for winning the league I need to win this game and advance to the finals.
I play vs. GU infect and he gets to start because he placed over me in Swiss
We can look at the opponents list. His only hate cards are 4 daze main and 2 pierce side along with 2 natures claim and krossan with 2 surgical. So I only have to worry about 6 bad counters.
1st game he has a blue infect creature and pendelhaven. I show and tell having one petal up to pierce him he brainstorms and summons another blue infect guy facing my progy. Then next turn he plays a land and attacks with the blue guy making pendelhaven and double vigorizate paying my pierce. I think I should have pierced his brainstorm but I dint wanted to lose to a daze.

2nd game I had a hand of fow with blue card, petal, fetch, tomb and blood moon with echoing. I fetched into island and he plays nexus. Then I play the petala and blood moon and some turns later I won due to him not being able to do anything.
3rd game he mulls to 5 on the play so I play a turn 3 blood moon and win after bouncing his Blue unblockeable guy and forcing a noble hierarch (he had forest). Then big monster came and win.
I wanted the win in the finals for the league points and being able to go, so I offered my opponent to give me the win and he being able to select price 1st between a fow and a volcanic. I didn’t care about the some euros of difference being able to win the regular league, so im happy reattaking my lilt pet deck.
