I was looking through the pool of Izzet cards available to us in Modern; I really like Delver of Secrets (thank you Stockholm Syndrome). He does have the Izzet flavor about him. So I decided to build a strange UR deck that wants to play offensive with him, while finishing up with Dungeon Geists and Thundermaw Hellkite.

3 Goblin Electromancer
3 Snapcaster Mage
3 Dungeon Geists
3 Thundermaw Hellkite
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Serum Visions
2 Magma Jet
2 Mizzium Mortars
3 Izzet Charm
3 Remand
2 Mana Leak
3 Bonfire of the Damned
4 Sulfur Falls
4 Scalding Tarn
4 Steam Vents
4 Mountain
5 Island
Basically, you have Insectile Aberration and Goblin Electromancer providing some offense. Delver moreso. Burn things out of your way and meet threats with counters. Dungeon Geists is to slow down big threats, and you want to seal the deal with Thundermaw Hellkite. Discuss, dissect, deliberate.
