well thats denver. Not too many people will make the trip to denver for a tournament.

but if the GPT was in los angeles, thats a different story.

I'm sorry, let me be more blunt.

There is a GPT FOR Denver, IN Los Angeles, AT Knight Ware on the same day, that was scheduled first, and will offer Knight Ware's usual collection of Legacy staples for prizes.

But if MTGDeals keeps insisting on scheduling their events the same day as Knight Ware, both shops are going to have to start scaling back their prize support because of the drop on attendance. Double-booking benefits nobody, and I really wish you guys would stop doing it.

I just want to come out and explain whats going on with MTG Deals and it's events.

First off we have changed the person who is in charge of all of our events and we hope that we will rarely have any conflicting tournaments in the future.

I also want to say that the conflicts in scheduling are not planned on purpose. These events are based off of our schedule and our schedule only. With as many tournaments that are going on in Southern California as well as at MTG Deals, it is impossible not to run an event the same time as another store. We are trying to appease our local players as well as all of the truly faithful legacy players that travel from far away. I wish that we can run events where the date works for everyone however other factors are considered when we plan tournaments. Some of the factors that don't allow us to change the dates for events include; availability of staff and judges, timetable for our camera man, allocation of cards, dates of other MTG Deals events (including Yu Gi Oh), and the grand prix/TCG player calendar. I hope everyone understands and if you have any questions or comments please ask me directly.

Thanks
Charles
