I just built this list for my girlfriend as a way to get into magic a little more than she is currently. She drafts and plays the EDH pre cons so I think she is ready for something a little more challenging and I still have nightmares from when madness was a powerhouse deck. I plan on adding more quiet speculation targets as she can handle them.
Any thoughts?

Yes. Many thoughts actually.
But first two questions: how competitive will this deck become?
And are there restrictions for our tips as to the budget for the deck?
Personally, I think that Madness as a mechanic is too weak for Legacy right now.
There are ways to improve it though, as there are to improve the list you mentioned.

You could play some Painlands or even Hinterland Harbours to make the manabase more comfortable. I would definately add some more speculation targets like Ancient Grudge and Ray of Revelation. I assume you wanna play this casually and not to get into Legacy, right? Because i think its not a good deck, to get into Legacy. My personal preferance is Unsummon over Aether Burst.

Not sure if that'd fit the budget, but I'd replace 2 Quiet Speculation and 2 Wonder with 3 Intuition + another card. Intuition can tutor for Wonder, and also lets you tutor for 3 Deep Analysis or 3 Aether Burst.
Vengevine could also work.
Waterfront Bouncer is also good.

Well for one, this is in the budget forum and I am fully capable of posting a list in the "legacy" deck forum so there is always that. The explanation behind the cards is so they are simple ad give her outs and chances to win. The basic game plan is to play the aggro control game until you can get a wonder in the yard and play 6/6 fliers for the win. If you can't find a wonder than Aether burst does a great job clearing the board as the game goes on.
I was thinking about replacing the bursts with psionic blast to give her a little reach and control.
Other than that, it is just a simple Madness list, I am trying not to add too much complexity other than the "madness" element. What should she logic, what should she bounce...can she just fly over for the win???
and I accidentally left Yavimaya Coast off of the list.
I think the evolution of the list will add red for fiery temper and ancient grudge in addition to the ray of revelation out of the sideboard

The list look pvery solid. However Iīm not a big fan of 4xAquamoeba after 10th ed. rule changes. Instead try running a 2/2 split with Waterfront Bouncer could be good. Specially since you allready have the tempo boost of the Aether Burst. But maybe thatīs just overkill. Another option for that spot would be Looter il-kor, very underraated card IMO.
Another aggro creature to have in mind is Brackwater Elemental. Discard or drop him early, and unearth him for the final points of damage once Wonder is online.
