Blinkmoth nexus, Unstable frontier

The goal is to have:

Blinkmoth nexus
Land Creature - Island

Stacking
1. Activate the Nexus ability to become creature
2. Tapping Unstable frontier to turn it into an Island

Using unstable frontier has interesting side effect - it erases all original text of the land and it has simply all attributes which are connected with subtype Island. Name and supertypes remain unchanged.

The stacking should resolve like this:
a) Nexus becomes an Island and loses all other abilities
b) The ability of nexus resolves and turns it into creature, while its still a land - island.

what follows is High Tide with pemmins aura and a lot of mana... :) But I am not sure whether there is a catch with layering rules or something.

Works with any manland, High tide and/or Caged sun, while in some cases if the manland produces at least one blue mana Caged sun is enough and changing subtype is not needed.
