Storm and Copying spells

I was playing a Commander game and one of my buddies cast Mind's Desire with Storm count 4. Then used Sigil Tracer ability to copy the original Mind's Desire after all the Storm copies finished resolving.

Does he get just one copy of Mind's Desire without any storm triggers? Or does he get Mind's Desire with Storm count 8?

If no storm triggers, are there any copy effects that will storm to trigger?

Storm is a keyword that only triggers when casting spells, not copying them.

Sigil Tracer will copy the spell, thus you won't get a Storm trigger simply by putting it onto the stack as a copy.
Be default, copy effects will never be able to trigger Storm.

However, there are ways to interact with Storm spells such as Eye of the Storm, Isochron Scepter, etc.
