Time for end of the month Legacy night at Games and Gizmos.
Attendance is hovering around 10. It would be nice to bump it up to around 16 to help keep this event going. I think there are some Seattle area folks that browse this site, if you are on the East side come on out!
I will have a deck or two to loan if that is holding you back.

Details:
Cost: $6
Start time: 6:30 PM
4 rounds
Prizes based on attendence: Packs or credit towards future events, your choice.

Yeah I usually hit up northwestmagic.com for event info. I didn't even know that Redmond had Legacy events.
I have a somewhat solid group of Bellevue Legacy players I may be able to wrangle up to attend. Just a tip - most of the Seattle guys don't want to travel for smaller events, but are willing to drive for bigger payouts. If you tried a $10 entry, with higher payout of course, you might see better attendance. I know D20 in Burien tried this, with $10 entry biweekly events, but turnout was a bit low so they are trying a monthly $20 entry event, which will fire for the first time this Saturday. No telling how that goes until it goes, but I'll try to remember to report back here as I will be going to that one.

Is there a trick to registering? I've never received the confirmation email. So I lurk, but don't post.

I do think a $10 entry would be better. I will try to convince Jeff.
I would be interested in hearing how the $20 event goes.
Seattle players all spoiled by options. If I could get to Card Kingdom as easily as G&G I would be all set, too. :D

Hmm you're right, I'm having the same issue. I even tried two e-mail addresses in case it was a problem with my gmail or something. Kinda weird because I know somebody who registered on there no problem some time ago. I tried e-mailing who I think is the admin to see if I can get it resolved, I will let you know (PM or on here) if/when I can figure it out.

The event had ten players which is about the same as they usually had when they ran their weekly events. It's hard to say if that's a location issue or what, as there were a couple Seattle players there and even a few from Everett. However, some of the usual weekly players did not attend so accounting for the numbers is anyone's guess.
I'll try to wrangle some guys to boost your attendance this Friday.
As far as the NorthwestMagic site, I believe all the registrations are done manually. There is no supercomputerbot2000. It's just a guy who clicks through stuff approving them one at a time. You may have gotten lost in the shuffle or you may have been mistaken for a bot.

I plan on attending this one.
I also think that raising the entry to $10 would generate more interest.
I can post the info on Northwest Magic if you want. Just let me know what you want to say.

I asked around with some of the regular attendees. No one seemed to be against a $10 entry fee. I'll try to sway the organizer today and confirm the details here. Seems to be a good idea to get the cost down before posting on Northwest Magic.

I think the first post has all the info you'd need. The entry fee was originally listed at $4, oops, that has been corrected to $6!
Too late to get this event changed to $10 entry. But when you are there, telling the staff your thoughts may influence future events.
...
If you could post this to Northwest Magic, that would be great. Thanks!

Thanks to the new players who showed up we hit 16!
I did not pay attention to the standings on my way out. I think the top decks were UW miracles, UW blade, and Canadian Thresh.
Lots of Underground Seas this time around.
