Here is a list I've been playing:
Creatures(12):
4 x Mother of Runes
4 x Steppe Lynx
4 x Knight of the Reliquary

Artifacts(3):
1 x Zuran Orb
1 x Crucible of Worlds
1 x Pithing Needle

Enchantments(4):
4 x Exploration

Instants(4):
4 x Crop Rotation

Sorceries(7):
4 x Life from the Loam
3 x Wrath of God

Lands(30):
1 x Arid Mesa
1 x Buried Ruin
2 x Emeria, the sky ruin
3 x Flagstones of Trokair
1 x Flooded Strand
1 x Forest
1 x Marsh Flats
3 x Maze of Ith
4 x Plains
4 x Savannah
3 x Secluded Steppe
2 x Wasteland
4 x Windswept Heath

The deck tries to smack down fast with Lynx and routinely swings for 12 dmg on T2 due to Crop rotation and Flagstones shenegans. Mothers and Knights join in. Knights already pretty big at this point. If unable to seal the deal we try to stall with Maze's and Mothers as long as possible. Preferably long enough to get Emeria online before WoG.

Pros:
Fun to play.
Has an early, a mid-term and a long-term plan.
Sorta works.

Cons:
Strong graveyard dependency (mainboard needle can help somewhat against Scavenging Ooze and Deathrite Shaman).
Rolls over to Combo (more or less).

I've been considdering some variants:
Mangara of Corondor + Karakas makes deck more controllish and gives me options to interact with opponent.
Prismatic Omen + Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle provides lategame reach alt wincon.

Need help with:
SB for unknown meta though pretty sure Bojuka Bog should be there for Dredge and Reanimator.

Any comments appreciated, although constructive feedback prefered.

I'd suggest going UGW for Daze, Brainstorm, Fathom Seer and also Vinelasher Kudzu.
If you also add 2-3 Undiscovered Paradise you aren't that vulnerable to yardhate anymore (and you get more draw and disruption)

Something like:

4 Mother of Runes
4 Steppe Lynx
4 Vinelasher Kudzu
3-4 Fathom Seer

2 Thwart
4 Daze
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
4 Exploration
2 Life from the Loam
4 Swords to Plowshares

4 Tundra
4 Tropical Island
2 Misty Rainforest
4 Windswept Heath
3 Undiscovered Paradise
1 Island
1 Forest
1 Plains

Scapeshift?

@Fuzzy I am such a dork. Scapeshift was part of the Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, Prismatic Omen considderation, I just neglected to mention that. I am bit unsure how to fit it in though.
Prismatic Omen is cool since it allows a lot more flexibility while preserving Emeria, the Sky ruin-late game engine.

@Aernil While I appreciate all feedback, I think your suggestion dillutes the deck beyond recognition. You have sacrificed Emeria, the Sky Ruin-engine and Flagstones of Trokair and Crop Rotation. Flagstones of Trokair and Crop Rotation are very important to make Steppe Lynx worthwhile.

I am starting to think i should also try to make room for Mox Diamond I certainly have the land count to support it, but here also unsure what to cut.

I may be way off base here, but I think a blue splash would be great for a couple of specific cards:

1) Treasure Hunt

2) Trinket Mage

I may be way off base, but with 30 lands you're going to draw 2 cards on average, sometimes a lot more with Treasure Hunt. Then it's just a matter of using those lands for advantage. Trinket Mage gets your important stall factors like Zuran Orb and Pithing Needle, and could be used for SDT and Engineered Explosives, too.
