My newest version of U/W Control. I don't have Duallands, and don't like the artwork of Jace TMS. So I think I should post it here. However, the deck is actually supposed to win serious Legacy tournaments, and not just casual games in my kitchen. As for the lack of Duals, the fact that basics are broken makes them a reasonable choice.

U/W Flash Legacy Disk

// 24+1
4 Flooded Strand
2 Polluted Delta
10 Island
8 Plain
1 Eternal Dragon

// 6
3 Vendilion Clique
3 Decree of Justice

// 10
4 Brainstorm
3 Fact or Fiction
3 Cunning Wish

// 11
4 Force of Will
4 Swords to Plowshares
3 Path to Exile

// 8
4 Nevinyrral's Disk
4 Counterspell

SB:
1 Path to Exile
1 Fact or Fiction
1 Ravenous Trap
1 Surgical Extraction
1 Stifle
4 Spell Pierce
2 Negate
1 Mindbreak Trap
1 White Sun's Zenith
1 Dismantling Blow
1 Pulse of the Fields

FoF: Is this the spot, where Jace TMS should come in? Is Jace TMS actually better? Hm. Anyway, I think 3 big draw spells is the right number.

Cunning Wish solves such problems as Lingering Souls (they are somewhat hard to deal with denying my Vendilion Cliques, Decree of Justice, being resistant to Disk through flashback) (wishing for Surgical Extraction) and Cavern of Souls protecting Goblin Ringleader (wishing for Stifle).

Wish-board: I think PtE, FoF, Ravenous Trap, Surgical Extraction, and Stifle are mandatory, whereas WSZ, D-Blow, Mtrap, PotF are rather metagame dependent.

Disk is mana-intensive and StP, PtE, and FoW almost don't require a manabase. StP, PtE, FoW make it so that it is no problem to cast the Disk in time. Often you can cast Disk, and still have the mana to PtE. In other words: StP, PtE, FoW counteract the high cost of Disk, they fill in the gap where Disk is lacking.

PtE: Against Goblins, if you kill their Goblin Lackeys, Goblin Piledriver, Lords, you massively slow down their kill. That makes PtE a very good card in that matchup. The rest of the deck (Disk, DoJ, FoF, Wish) then takes over.

Disk: Emrakul, Griselbrand, Iona, Entreat, Batterskull, Counterbalance, Aether Vial, Manlands, Flash, Equipments, Nic Fit,...

Clique and DoJ: better than Batterskull, and Elspeth without giving an explicit answer.

Last but not least: Snapcaster Mage. The thing is that the shell is just not suited for him. While I have loads of cheap spot-removal, the counterspell suit doesn't work so great with him, so I think Vendilion Clqiue, and Decree of Justice, which is a primary win-con and as such not comparable to SCM, are much better. I also don't want to lose Cunning Wish, because Wish simply handles a few problems (like those mentioned above) and the job is done.

Do you really not play JtMS because of the artwork? Or because of the price tag? This is a budget section, so it is understandable that you wouldn't play the card because of the price. But not playing it because of the art seems like an odd decision.

I would also have to buy them.

I wonder though how to include him properly, as I haven't actually much experience with him. But most importantly I want to retain the idea of the deck that is relying mostly on instant/flash and only tapping out if it really is worth it, like for Disk, since Disk is for the most part a bigger play than the biggest play that exists in Legacy, and I don't want to end up with U/W Miracle adding SDT in the process to miracle consistently, or end up with Stoneblade.

I'd say Jace is every much and more worthy of tapping out then FoF or Disk. The only reason I wouldn't include him is budgetary in any UW control shell. If you haven't much experience playing with Jace I can tell you the card can single handedly take over a game, and has the added bonus of providing UW control an additional win con.
