Hahaha, Rachrob is my girlfriend (her artistic signature) -- I personally could not manage to draw anything decent on any cards and since, well, she's an artist I figured she could probably do a bit better than I. Although I did manage to completely ruin a few cards trying to make them cheerful. Glad you got the package and I'm happy I managed to make a dent (although small) in your wishlist. So I received my package yesterday and just couldn't resist opening it. I know, I'm terrible. Some pics to make up for it though. The first card I saw was a promo Ajani Vengeant. Nice, I needed one for my EDH 5C lands based deck.

My reaction to my next card was kinda stupid, as I first wondered why I would receive a foreign Lightning bolt. Just a few seconds after I realized that I actually had put it on my wants list for my casual pimp deck, and it's just awesome!

The third card is a signed Chinese counterspell, though I didn't aks for this one, I really like it! Very nice card ^^. Directly found it's way in my UR casual pimp deck, just like the lightning bolt :).

But the last card was by far the best. I opened the package when a friend was at my place and we both couldn't believe I actually received this card. You might think, four cards ain't that much, but wait untill you see it.

I'm glad you had a home for the Counterspell. I needed a fourth card to complete the packaging and an old school Leif Garrett Counterspell seemed like a decent random pimp card to throw in.

You were thiiiiiiiiis close to getting a Jace wearing a Santa hat, but multiple attempts on other cards revealed the fact that I'm an even worse artist than I thought I was. Figured you'd appreciate a non-altered one a little bit more than one with an accidental beret (they were seriously that bad). Did the backwards sleeving of the Jace help to highten the anticipation, or was it just dumb? I was going for "Oh, these are some pretty cool cards. Wonder what this backwards one is? Whaaaaaat?", but wasn't sure how it was going to be received.

May all your fateseals put gas on the bottom and leave your opponent flooding out. Happy holidays!

Haha, thanks man! I thought about how an SS altered card would be cool, but if it was that bad, I'll take your word for it. Doesn't make me like it less! And yeah, the putting in reverse was very nice. I pulled the card out of the sleeve, turned it around and gasped XD. I just really couldn't believe at first glance. Awesome :). Looks like solid gifts so far. I personally would love a playset of signed/altered jaces. I got one from when I won the raffle on manatalks. Pascal Marion didn't want to alter the card, so he put ManaTalks on the card.

Currently debating between a foil Spore Frog and a Japanese Cursed Scroll for the last piece for my victim for this. I've given out 3 of my 4 Scrolls over the last few years. My girlfriend wants the Spore Frog also, but she doesn't play. It's "pretty".

So, I got my package today and tried to be a good person and wait til the 25th. So I put the package under the tree and went on a date. While I was out, my mind was more on what could be in the package than the date. It was a tragedy. So right when I got home I opened the package.

There was a note with the package, but I had a feeling that the note would tell me who my SS was and I wanted to guess * as I didn't recognize the name on the package*. Once I saw all the cards, my mind was blown. My SS went above and beyond what I was expecting. The funny thing is my SS got me a badlands. This is the only dual I don't have, and I need it for an EDH deck. Serious telepathy powers! Everything else is in german and signed by him <3. I Ended up not being able to think who it was; After reading the note, I found out it was Einherjer.

Einherjer; I'm very thankful for the gifts, I just hope I can blow the lid off my SS, same way you blew mine.

Yeah, I sent mine First Class International to an undisclosed European country. Tracking was going to be astronomical so I just used the parcel number to find that the trail stops in Chicago on November 23rd. I can only assume it will be arriving any day now.

In Switzerland customs will screen most letters/packets around this time of year, which delays delivery a lot. Also if they think you bought the cards (what they will) and there's no receipt/anything to take the value from, you'll get a letter where you get asked to provide one. You'll get your cards therefore about 2-3 weeks later...

Walked out my door (technically yesterday now), went by the mail box and had a couple things there, first of all no bills which is always fantastic, a few cards I ordered to work on finishes a Modern deck, and most importantly my SSS Package! ^_^

I would personally say that mine was the best one, but then hey, that’s me and I got awesomeness…

4 Foil Cards later I realized just how awesome this awesomeness was.

Attrition from Urza’s Destiny! Finishes that block (well sort of per se, Saga didn’t have foils other than promos)

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV from Dissension! Finishes the original Ravnica Block!

R&D’s Secret Lair from Unhinged (to use another Unhinged card to describe that… “Duh” it’s from Unhinged!) Finishes off that set too!

Now the best card, well my favorite Magic card at least, simply because it amuses me greatly….
CHEATYFACE!!! Now up to 13 foil Cheatyface.

I think it's an even better card with Abrupt Decay running around for white staxx. The BG player has to nug Hanna first before working on your Chalice(s). It's also great fun with Mishra's Factory.

I was pretty ecstatic when I got a package in the mail that I didn't know who it was from, meaning it was my Secret Santa.

I thought about not opening it, but then that thought disappeared quickly. When I opened the package, I was freaking ecstatic since the first card I saw were Russian Deathtouch Wolf Tokens, which are infinitely hard to find due to being cards you usually throw away. Just those would have been an excellent gift.

But, then as I read the note and continued going through the package, I opened a nice set of altered UNH Swamp, Forest, and Plains for my Junk deck. Very nice! Also, a Laboratory Maniac altered with the Periodic Table on it. Thanks for repping science there, Laurens (aka. Useless).

About those tokens, the shipment cost was actually 5 times the value of the tokens XD (10 cents a piece) but unfortunately I couldn't order more than two. The Lab maniac was pretty hard to do, considering I had to write all the elements right at the first time. Almost made a mistake at some point, but checking everything 100 times helped :p. Oh, and do you reckognize the mask the lab maniac is wearing? :wink:

It certainly seems that way. All this foreign stuff makes me worry about my backup packages - my finances are not such that I can buy a ton of stuff for people this year.

Given the shipment dates I have, more people should have received by now, or should be receiving in the next two days. EVEN IF you don't want to open your package, please let the person who sent you your pairings know it arrived! There are a large number of people on my list that are almost ready to be checked off as soon as I can confirm their packages arrived.

Honestly given the time of year everyone would likely be well served to remember the volume of extra packages in the mail and try not to stress if thing take a little longer to get where there going. Ya it sucks if you or your partner don't have their package in time for the big day but all in all there isn't much we can do at this point so as long as your mailed no point in worrying really.

Package received today. I just had to open it. Turns out my SS seems to have a spy in my house as there is absolutely no other way that someone in Lithuania could have known that I actually needed a foil Squire (for my Momir Basic Live stack). So sick. My package included:

Due to my espionage I knew beforehand who my Secret Santa was - Whippoorwill!!! When I opened the package last night I was truly joyful. The package contained a mix of randomcoolstuff, wishlist-cards and format staples. They were mixed together so I never knew what the next card was. Opening the package was like:"Cool, FUCK Cool, wow this one too?, ok, now the good things are over, but nice alter, Dafuq no they still go on!, great, hmm looks funny, ok, now its over, Cool token, noo still not over, moar good stuff!!"
So, if this was intentionally, it worked out! Another delicacy was the fact that the cards/sleeves were a little sticky, so I was still finding 2 more cards an hour after I opened the package.
It was a supergreat package, thank you very much for it!!! I hope your package is as stunning as yours was!

Thanks for the update. I suspected that you were my Santa, since there aren't so many russians around :) There are always difficulties with the post around New Year though, so I continue waiting... If it entered Russia, than I'm afraid the investigation won't find anything..

So the spirit of Christmas has not faded out yet and miracles may still happen.
After 3 months I didn't expect to receive anything... BuT! Today I received a letter with no return address... It was opened and really crumpled, but the cards inside were untouched. And here's what I pulled out of it:

Perhaps those Ogres were doing their job really well and saved the cards from all troubles :laugh: If it's not clear all the possible cards are foil!
