I play it in Modern and it is a whole lot of fun... Would it work in Legacy? It would resemble stoneblade I would think. Something like:

3x Jace, the Mind Sculptor
2x Ajani Vengeant
2x Elspeth, Knight-Errant
1x Gideon Jura

4x Force of Will
3x Stoneforge Mystic
1x Batterskull
1x Umezawa's Jitte
4x Swords to Plowshares
3x Snapcaster Mage
3x Lightning Bolt
4x Brainstorm
3x Spell Pierce
1x Vendilion Clique
1x Path to Exile

24 Lands Fetches Duals and such...

Would this be viable or am I just bad at magic and have an awful love affair with Ajani Vengeant?

I played a deck similar to this a few months ago at weekly events. I found that too many walkers get stuck in your hand too frequently, so I only ran 3 Jace, 1 Ajani and 1 Elspeth. Bolt was god awful so I ran 2 EE and 2 Lightning Helix instead of the set of Bolts. I also ran 2 or 3 Lavamancer which was awesome. I don't remember the entire list or I would post it.

This concept reminds me of ULTIMATE WALKER (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?14269-Deck-Ultimate-Walker).

The premise was based upon a UW/x Landstill base and Planeswalkers to accrue turn by turn advantage. Please note this was before JTMS, so some of the concepts are antiquated now. Nevertheless, Bignasty seems to have played a list closer to Ultimate Walker. EE and Lightning Helix both played a key role in surviving until the 'Walkers came online.
