What are you planning to play?
What do people expect the field to look like?
How are you building your list to combat the expected field?
Would you build your deck any differently if you have byes?
Personally I am playing Esper Stoneblade expecting a pretty open meta with a fair amount of BUG, Miracles and other Stoneblade decks. I really want to have an edge against miracles and other stoneblade decks game 1, not sure exactly how to do that but I am working on it.

The top decks are going to be (in order)
1. RUG Delver
2. BUG Aggro
3. Esper StoneBlade
4. UWR Miracles
Then some combination of Maverick, Goblins, Spiral Tide, UR Delver, BUG Control, Storm, Omni-Tell, Sneak and Show, Dredge and Junk. I'd expect the top 4 decks to comprise of probably 50%-60% of the metagame Day 2, and the second tier of decks will probably be another 30%-40%.

Snowy and cold. I would bring a jacket and hat to the tournament.
I don't know if this is the metagame advice you wanted, but I know it is the advice you probably needed.

If you have Byes, construct your deck for what the current top tier meta looks like as after 3 wins those are the decks you are most likely to face. If you do not have byes have as balanced a decklist as you can, because the first three rounds(in my experience anyway) you are more likely to face "Rogue deck 3000" or "that one deck that used to see play but never does anymore so you dont have any hate"

Well for the 4th round, you might be paired against somebody else who had 3 byes so then you still might be playing vs. Jank.

I'll be playing storm. Does that help?

Not really sure how RUG expects to survive with Deathrite, RiP, Abrupt decay, Cavern of souls

1. Grim Lavamancer and more Forked Bolts
2. Pray that they don't see it. Grip and snares are good
3. Only a 1 for 1
4. Has been dealing with it for a while now

I'm playing RUG - I'm selecting it because I've played with it a lot recently and feel comfortable with the deck.
I expect the field to include BUG Control, BUG Fish, UW Miriacles, Stoneblade, and Goblins.
The maindeck will have more counter spells: 4 Stifle, 4 Force of Will, 3 Spell Pierce, 3 Spell Snare, 3 Daze. Though I may scale back that number for more removal. In the sideboard, I plan on adding:
Divert: used to combat the BUG match ups. It redirects discard and also is the closest thing to a counter spell versus Abrupt Decay.
Envelop: necessary to combat the Miracles deck. It has additional utility against most combo decks.
Sulfuric Vortex: boarded in against the UW based control decks.
Submerge: Neceeary against the mirror and the BUG match up
I wouldn't build my list differently because RUG usually does well against rouge decks.

I'm going to be that guy playing something random that pisses you all off. I'm playing Zoo with blue. Why? Mostly because I want to make people read Hidden Herd]. But also because the format is very slow right now (for Legacy). Everyone is trying to generate incremental advantage or play tempo games. Rather than do what everyone one else is doing, I want to do something that plays through their strategy. Running little dudes and burn lets me be consistent and ignore tempo tricks. Since combo is seeing a lull thanks to Miracles, fair, designed to combat other fair, is where a deck wants o be.

I've been mulling this question over too. It's looking right now like BUG control, UW variants, some tempo, and a slew of creature decks that prey on the above, with some Show and Tell. If that's the case, I think I want to be playing storm. Lots of people have been cutting Force of Will (greedy bastards).
But BUG control has been doing well and it's been testing well for me, so I may just stick with that. Need to figure out how to beat burn, goblins, and super grindy junk decks.

BUG Control or BUGLandstill has a really, really hard time vs Burn and Goblins, not sure about Junk.
I don't think you can really fix that well, unless you want to comit way too many slots against red decks.

GP: Combo. ANT and SNT everywhere. I am really a little scared that my home GP is going to look less like the east-coast legacy scene, and way more like SCG Vegas.

West Coast degens do our best to punish lackluster decks.

Haha, decks can and will kill you on turn one in Legacy.
GP: Win the Die Roll
alternatively
GP: "What do you mean you lost the die roll?"
I think there'll be a good number of storm players and I also think we'll see a UR Delver list with Nivmagus in Top8.

Well there seems to be an overabundance of BUG decks judging from the SCG Opens metagame. If Denver is anything like that I'd want either Goblin Guide or Goblin Lackey. Either or is fine and it's nice that the answers for the two decks have little overlap. If we take it even further I'd much rather play Storm which is great against the aggressive decks as well as the BUG decks, especially the Shardless Agent versions.
TL; DR Storm.
