Hey everyone. I've been reading the source for a long time, and this is the first deck idea I'm proposing so I would LOVE some feedback. I'm normally a strict combo player as I love the non-interaction of game ones msotly, some of my favorite decks to play are LED dredge, elves, reanimator, and epic storm. Lately however I've been pitching some ideas around in my head about building a control deck around the synergies of my two favorite cards, gitaxian probe and cabal therapy. What got me started on this deck idea was the possible first turn sequence of one, gitaxian probe, followed by cabal therapy. pretty simple. I'm aware that turn one thoughtseize is just as effective, especially since it does what both those cards do for one spell. However, I like the idea of being able to recur cabal therapies from my graveyard at the simple cost of a creature if need be.

any help with furthering the deck idea long would be much appreciated! definatly not a final product at all, just a shell of something i've wanted to try for a while. would love to see what others think of the potential interactions ?

Though I'm not as wise other members 'cause my short-magic life, I feel I have to share give you my thoughts as I REALLY REALLY REALLY love a deck like this. I've been toying with the idea of a UB control deck with my fav. cards (cabal therapy, snapcaster, jace, and of course, Bitterblossom), but I don't own any underground sea, or liliana of the veil, dark confidant, thoughtseize... So I simply through the idea away and never try something.

But ok, to the topic.

If you play black, thoughtseizes are necessary. I'd play over Inquisition of Kozilek always. The idea of removing ANY card, is simply awesome. Sure, you can rely on gitaxian probe and cabal therapy, and flashback with blossom, but you need there 3 cards, while with thoughtseize you just need... ok, 1 card and 2 lives :)
I don't know how your deck kills. I mean, Delver is awesome, same as Faeries, but you don't have any kind of equipment to attached, and if they kill your delver (and if the player is clever enough, will do) you only play with 1/1 creatures.
Maybe you should consider adding Tombstalker, or Abyssal persecutor, since you can get rid of it with cabal therapy.

A really nice thing about playing black is the removal. Go for the throat may be one of the best black removals, if not the best (Dismember could also fit really well, since you have black to pay it).
Plus, with so much "life removing": dark confidant, bitterblossom, probe... You may consider playing Death's Shadow.

4 Sensei's diving tops seems a lot for me. I mean, its a card I'll always love to have in my opening 7 hand but its a terrible top deck when you need a win con. And more if you don't have nothing to discard with.

Last, I'll add hymn to tourach... Awesome card, always love playing it. :)

Needs less Tops, 4 is too much.
More creatures, maybe 1-2 Cliques?
Needs 1-2 Jittes to counter the lifeloss and take advantage of Blossom.
Needs kills spells to abuse with Snapcaster.

as i've been toying with deck i'd agree about including jitte and top. i've noticed I lost a lot of life really quickly lol. i simply run inquisitions of thoughtseize because i dont have thoughtseize's anymore, could easily get them but still just didnt have them. so maybe cut two tops, add two jittes. maybe cut one therapy, and one inquisition/thoughtseize to add 2 abyssal persecutors ?

if im using jitte, should i even try splashing white for SFM ?
