Where in vegas is the Grand Prix Modern Masters?

its at the cashman center no where close to the strip.

more towards the north end where fremont street is.

anyone know if there are going to be schuttles or anything? or are there just gonna be hundreds of cabs pulling up to the center?

The Cashman Center is about 8 blocks from the old strip, which since the city has injected many millions of Federal dollars into the Fremont Street Experience, old Vegas is the New Vegas. I would book a room at the D hotel or the Golden Nugget, both have which have done incredible renovations within the past couple years. The Strip is an amusement park that is overpriced and overhyped. Check out downtown, it's cultured, has character, and is easy to navigate. You can always cab down the strip, get plastered, and cab back if that's your thing. The Mob Museum is off downtown and it's really cool if you ever took a liking to the Mob legacy.
