I've always been a huge fan of the infinite mana combo envolving Power Artifact (http://magiccards.info/aq/en/55.html) and Grim Monolith (http://magiccards.info/ul/en/126.html) or Basalt Monolith (http://magiccards.info/be/en/233.html).
There's this decklist (http://www.thecouncil.es/tcdecks/deck.php?id=5559&iddeck=40251) two years old that played a slightly different deck, like a single card strategy. It worked, though.
Watching how MUC has been somewhat consistent, I've been thinking if it is viable to toy with it.
I haven't tested yet, but my starting list will be:

Staff of Domination, Trinisphere and Chalice of the Void buys you time and gives some protection.
This hybrid has a lot of sinergy. With Monoliths, Metalworker and Voltaic Key, it is easy to hardcast Emrakul, even without infinite mana flowing around.
