I've been a Dragon Stompy player for some time now, and always have loved the stompy feel. I like its aggressive strategy that still has decent matchups against combo through cards like Chalice of the Void and Trinisphere. As I've followed legacy, I've noticed that every color except green has a decent stompy deck that sees fringe play in legacy (Dragon Stompy, Faerie Stompy, Demon Stompy, and Angel Stompy). So, while thinking about cards that would be great in a green stompy shell, Thragtusk came to mind, and I had to try to brew something with it. Here's what I came up with:

4x Thragtusk
4x Phantom Centaur
4x Spawnwrithe
4x Ifh-Biff Efreet
4x Elvish Spirit Guide
1x Bellowing Tanglewurm
1x Master of the Wild Hunt
4x Trinisphere
4x Chalice of the Void
4x Beast Within
4x Green Sun's Zenith
4x Chrome Mox
10x Forest
4x City of Traitors
4x Ancient Tomb

Sideboard:
4x Stingerfling Spider
3x Acidic Slime
4x Ratchet Bomb
1x Dosan the Falling Leaf
1x Tree of Redemption
1x Thrun, the Last Troll
1x Yeva, Nature's Herald

The sideboard is very sketchy right now, but I really like Stingerfling Spider against Show and Tell and Dosan seems like a good GSZ target. Spawnwrithe looks silly at first glance, but unanswered can get out of control fast. He's especially good as a follow up to a turn 1 Trinisphere. Phantom Centaur has proven that he still has the combat prowess that he held back in his Type 2 days, both blocking for days and attacking with little to no fear with ease. Ifh-Biff Efreet has been ok so far. I haven't seen enough of it to determine whether or not he's worth it, but I can see him finishing games quickly with both his air evasion and his pinging ability. I'm also happy with the two one-ofs in the mainboard. They have both proven to be exceptional GSZ targets in the right situations. The Master is great for building an army to punch through a stalled board and provides a little extra removal, while the Tanglewurm is perfect for squeezing those last few points of damage through.

If you're going to run Phantlm Centaur, I'd include some Swords to slap on him and make him virtually immune to damage.

Also, have you considered the Natural Order package in this? I've seen it run with some success in a Stompy shell.

I am pretty sure this idea isn't new. (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?14341-Deck-Mono-Green-Chalice-Aggro)

Whoops. Then just ignore me here. I'll go over there and see what they have to say.

What about berserk stompy?

Yeah, Beserk Stompy has the Stompy name, but when I said Stompy, I meant Chalice Aggro. Sorry for the confusion.

Just looking at your list I notice wayyyy too many GGX mana costs for a deck with a 4 Tomb / 4 City manabase.

When you're playing a Stompy deck, you absolutely want to maximize the number of single colored mana costs. You want more 2G or 3G cards in this deck instead of 2GG or 1GG.

I see the Efreet and the Centaur as bad choices for this deck due to their 2GG casting cost, as they also do not provide enough value to justify that cost. I would probably put in some Scavenging Ooze and Tarmogoyf in the deck instead.

I've updated my list and posted it in the Mono-Green Chalice Aggro thread that was linked to earlier. The Efreet got cut and replaced by 3 Lodestone Golems and an Eternal Witness That reduces the number of GG costing cards to 7 in the maindeck, and 3 of those are 1-ofs that are mainly GSZ targets. It seems much more manageable now.
