[Brooklyn, NY] Bi-Monthly Legacy Events, Next one Sunday 3/31/13

Hey Guys!

I haven't seen Luis update his old posts in awhile, but 20 Sided Store is still going strong having legacy events every other Sunday! Turnout is usually in the 15-20+ range, prizes of packs or store credit. If they start consistently getting more people/a larger legacy base, I'd bet they would be willing to run some really nice prize pool events!

Hope to see more people out! I know this weekend will probably be tough (i.e. Easter), but I'll start updating this thread regularly with some results and stuff in hopes of continuing to grow the legacy community here in NYC!

Solid turnout of 17 ( I believe? maybe 19) today considering it's easter. 4 Rounds of swiss 3-1 and 3-0-1 decks looked to be

Legacy events have now been moved to every other Monday at 630pm.

They have been continuing to regularly get 21 on tuesday's (sell out point?) for Modern, so I'd expect their to still be people showing up on Mondays.

Yea, I have about 4-5 friends and myself who were planning to regularly attend because it was on Sunday. :cry: Bummer.

I'll still be coming regularly. I hope attendance doesn't drop cause it's a weekday. But hearing the turnout for Modern on Tuesdays makes me optimistic.

Also, if anyone wants to come play legacy but doesn't have a deck, usually there's peeps with some extra decks. I usually have a couple of spares myself (Red Deck Wins, Affinity, Dredge).

Come out and play if you can. Great crowd and nice meta.

Oh wow, didn't even know there was a Legacy scene in Brooklyn, much less most of NYC these days. Always seemed to be so many more people playing upstate, Long Island, or over in NJ. Would've loved to give it a shot but unfortunately weekdays won't work for me either. :rolleyes:

That's too bad. I cannot make it on Monday at all. I was planning on coming this month, once the store is done with all it's prerelease stuff.

Store got another 12+ Yesterday for legacy! I'm gonna see if I can't talk Luis into doing a larger legacy event sometime soon (on a weekend preferably).
