With the recent hulabaloo with cascade I thought about a deck that abuses some of the recent "legacy flavors of the month" with Bloodbraid Elf, and Shardless Agent. Here's a list I've been toying with that is just bonkers. The mana needs some refining since it is 4 colors.
Draw: 11
4 brainstorm
3 ponder
4 ancestral vision
Disruption/Utility: 13
4 abrupt decay
4 hymn to tourach
3 force of will
2 umezawa's jitte
Creatures: 16
4 deathrite shaman
4 Tarmogoyf
4 shardless agent
4 bloodbraid elf
Mana: 20
3 city of brass (you gotta pay to play)
4 polluted delta
4 verdant catacomb
2 bloodstained mire
3 underground sea
1 bayou
1 tropical island
1 volcanic island
1 badland
The deck is bonkers when it comes to drawing cards, and eventually you "get there". The mana definitely needs work though. It's kinda dumb just how many cards you draw though lol
It really depends on what kind of deck you want this to me. Right now it's kind of everywhere because it has fow and hymns, which are like control/tempo plays but then it has jitte which is usually for more aggro/control plays.
I think you should try with just rug mana base. You can still run the cities of brass for drs black mana activations but I don't think the black is really necessary once you have access to red for lightning bolt. You can also play punishing fire in this deck since it could use the G/R. This is the list I would try to play if I had the time (and money) to make it:
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Shardless Agent
3 Bloodbraid Elf
15
4 Brainstorm
4 Ancestral Visions
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Punishing Fire
2 Sylvan Library
3 Force of Will
2 Spell Pierce (or Snare)
38
3 Tropical Island
2 Volcanic Island
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
3 Misty Rainforest
3 Scalding Tarn
2 Wooded Foothills
3 Wasteland
1 Island
1 Forest
That'd be a pretty sweet deck to play, lots of burn, and CA from cascading, sylvan, and pfire
Lemme know what you think of my take on this deck

the deck looks good and consistent! :D
i would put the 4th FOW and 1 SDT for more top manipulation..
cause pierce and snare don't work with cascade
btw, no place for 1 or 2 Jace?? (note that FOW needs more blue)
I expect comments from the deck!
EDIT: mistook the post above, with the creator, so my response was to that list, not the first posted !!

So black is key for hymn/abrupt decay. I don't have spell pierce/spell snare in my list (and it shouldn't be in yours) so I'm not sure why you're referring to those cards. Jitte is meant to cascade into, which is pretty likely to happen since you have 8 cascaders.
Also Punishing fire is bad. Bolt is there for removal if you prefer it over decay, but this isn't a "grindy" flavor of the month PFires deck.

This is just RUG Cascade (Waterfalls) with B splash, we already have a thread for this:
http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?24739-Waterfalls-(RUG-Cascade!)
you should post there.
B should be just a splash, you shouldn't weaken your manabase that much just to play Hymn to Tourach. The drawback of City of Brass is not sustainable in a deck non superfast. The general consensus for RUGb Cascade is playing a couple of B duals (I play one bayou and one Underground Sea).
And, please, stop saying that Punishing Fire is bad. Didn't you learn anything from the discussion in the Jund thread? Now it's general consensus, PF is a powerhouse in this meta. Look at the winning lists all over the world. Not playing PF in a GRx midrange deck is questionable, saying it's bad is plain stupid.

Never!
o.O okay I'll post the b splash in that thread.
