Hey guys,

I've been looking for a nice deckbox for my pimped up edh deck.
The problem is that the only one that could hold 100 cards in normal+perfect fit sleeves is the loose plastic one like this: http://sales.starcitygames.com/carddisplay.php?product=412301

I am looking for something along the lines of this: http://sales.starcitygames.com/carddisplay.php?product=279366
Problem with this one is that it can only hold up to 20 out of 100 cards in perfect fits. In reality I would like this to be at least 60/100 due to the value of sinles in the deck.

I don't like the new edh-specific one - hate the diagonal bottom when loading. http://sales.starcitygames.com/carddisplay.php?product=404149

Any ideas? What are you guys using?

Thanks!

Fatpack Box holds 2 EDH decks easily.

I like the first one, the cheap ol' Ultra-Pro one. I tried out a different one b/c apparently I am a sucker for upselling at my local card shop :/ anyway it is a hard plastic thing that leaves a lot of wiggle-room for the cards, and while that sounds like an okay thing I prefer the Ultra-Pro boxes. Maybe I am speaking anecdotally at this point, but I feel like the tighter fit of the Ultra Pro boxes actually sort of flattens foils to the point that they don't bug the shit out of me when I'm shuffling and suddenly it's like Ms. Cleo from those infomercials we all watch to go to sleep at night - "OHH A CARD DON JUMP OUT AT ME CHILE. Ooooh eeets de budget Terastrodon I don peeecked oop at de card shooppe. Ainnobody wan dem foil Graveborn cards? I take dem and sleeve dem up right, chile! Call me naow for yer fake accent -- I mean, FREE READEN"

UltraPro has a 100+ count clear, plastic deckbox that perfectly fits 100 cards sleeved with perfect fits and UltraPro sleeves. The box still fits if you use KMC Mat Black but it's a little tighter so you have to be careful. They retail for about $2 each. It's the only box I've found that neatly fits an entire EDH deck of mine even with foils and/or paper proxies. I own 10. Highly recommended for the price, size, and durability.

I my friend had a deckbox like this (except dragon shield brand instead of ultra pro) and I can recommend them. Ion deckboxes and the like are nice but they're a bit bulky and they get a bit worn overtime unlike a solid hunk of plastic.

I like to carry around more than 1 deck at a time so I just use a fatpack box.

I have this Ultra Pro box too. I have there 100 cards, double protected , and two paper boxes from tournament packs with "unprotected" cards and dices. Plenty of space... I just cant find them in local stores anymore.
