Congrats! And thanks for nice read again.
I proxied ANT while ago, much like Adam Prosaks list, so yes, few differences from yours but your articles have been great help when trying to understand how to play it.

Great article! Congratulations!

btw. obvious -island -swamp -2 preordain -probe/ponder +3 Extraction +2 SDT for me in the pseudo-mirror

what's your opinion on SDT main instead of additional cantrips (preordain)? I'm traditionaly inclined to the best threshold building setup possible but metashift to Deathrite Shaman+discard heads me towards options for longer games as losing G1 is no longer just terrible unfortunate accident

My opponent had taken losses mainly from Tendrils decks throughout the weekend and was wondering why he was losing what is supposed to be a good matchup.

Because he apparently didn't bring in grave hate against you. The way the matchup plays out, BUG is wanting to stop Storm from going off early. If successful, that means Storm has to win through Past in Flames, assuming BUG has a reasonable clock. Even before Past in Flames was printed, I'd bring in grave hate almost regardless of the deck to shut down IGG loops and to weaken Cabal Ritual. If the Storm deck wasn't running Cabal Ritual, then the decision was tougher, but now that Past in Flames exists, there's no way I would pass on sideboarding grave hate. It's always going to be a hard matchup simply because Storm has probably the highest raw power of any deck in Legacy, but cutting off Past in Flames is a smart strategy.

Congrats on the win, Carsten.
