Ok guys this deck is a developing deck I would dedicate to one of the best Michael Jackson's songs: BLACK OR WHITE.
Well, obviously is built around those two colors . B and W .
"What an original idea!blablabla"... you are thinking...Ok but...No,not separately! But together! It Is actually black OR white because it doesn't matter which color you play among the two cuz you will end up to play the other one too. How? Well with B and W Multicolored cards!
It is indeed a fun (maybe "fan" would be more appropriate  ) deck but is looking to be also a competitive deck.
So here it is...still not finished but with what i thought it should be made of.
It's all based around the Mimic. He should be the BEATER that will do serious damage to your opponent if early casted but we have many other dangerous spells to play and control the board. Dconfidant is the necessary black card drawer engine of the deck.
Creatures
4 Dark Confidant Buy
2 High Priest of Penance Buy maybe to useless with swords and abrupt around don't know, could swap it with something else
4 Nightsky Mimic Buy THRILLER:cool:
4 Sin Collector cool?i think so. turn 1 thoughtseize turn 2 l.petal +him=he is left with 5 cards and u have a creature in game.plus u have seen twice his hand.
3 Tidehollow Sculler don't super like it but hes a blocker for the planewalker and a good permanent
1* Voracious Hatchling Buy pretty bastard beater and has like the mimic the WB synergy, maybe 4 of these will fit too
Spells
2 duress
2 swords to
4 Gerrard's Verdict Buy hymn to touraco with bad luck but vintage gain life
4 Thoughtseize Buy first turn u have to play something that controls and he is the best
4 Vindicate Buy cough cough
Artifacts
4 lotus petal
2 Sensei's Divining Top Buy other first turn option
Lands
1 Karakas Buy
4 Marsh Flats Buy
4 Scrubland Buy
3 Swamp Buy
3 plains Buy
1 urborg, tomb of Buy
1 Vault of the Archangel niceee
1 Volrath's Stronghold Buy lets return all those bastards
Planeswalkers
2 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad Buy the king of pop
The point is : is that 4/4 mimic really a bastard or not? is he a WB tarmogoyf or not? i think he 's even more
Others running up to the main deck:
Zealous Persecution little wrath of god istant. nice.
Castigate thoughtseize turn 2?
Edgewalker Buy make those 2 main deck clerics pay free and :1: ...was fun to add it to the list only i guess
Ghost Council of Orzhova Buy
Tainted Sigil Buy surprise?
Necrotic Sliver Buy vindicate 2? mm maybe not
Death Grasp Buy strong
Hide (Hide/Seek) Buy very cool against emrakul
Purgatory have to think at this for 1 week before
maybe a couple of umezawa's are needed
thanks for reading,
waiting for COMMENTS!
AOW!
Nightsky Mimic and Voracious Hatchling are not very good IMO. They can't block, they force you to play spells before you attack, they force you to play subpar cards like Gerrard's Verdict instead of Hymn to Tourach to meet the color requirements...
Try something like this?
//18 spells
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Thoughtseize
2 Inquisition of Kozilek
4 Hymn to Tourach
4 Vindicate
//4 artifacts
2 Sensei's Divining Top
1 Umezawa's Jitte
1 Sword of Light and Shadow
//18 creatures
4 Judge's Familiar
4 Dark Confidant
3 Stoneforge Mystic
2 Jotun Grunt
2 Tidehollow Sculler
2 Sin Collector
//20 lands
4 Wasteland
4 Marsh Flats
4 Verdant Catacombs
4 Scrubland
2 Swamp
1 Plains
1 Karakas
I suspect the creatures are too small though. Jotun Grunt helps battle Goyfs and beatdown, and the equipment package helps the 2/2 bears become threats. Recurring Judge's Familiars with Sword of Light and Shadow is pretty techy, maybe useful.
High Priest might be really good, but I think there are just too many ways for the opponent to play around it. Combo ignores it and wins anyway. Other decks can hit it with spot removal. RUG will have some trouble, since they can only burn it. But they could also just ignore it and swing in the air.

I can't not agree more on what u say but the point is i dont want to build one of those similar decks with very powerfull cards. The point of this one was to bring up a new idea :) So gerrard -> hymn in this deck (even if is not) . Probabilly it lacks of another Mimic card style to give really a reason to play all this BW Michael Jackson spells  Voracious is has that style and i really like it , i don't agree u saying he can't block. Of course not the first turn u drop it since it will be a 2/2 . But the turn afterwards he will be a 4/4 (maybe 6/6).
plus i think x4 Zealous Persecution are a must since they are instants. Needs testing it has indeed a lot of powerful cards in it and well known ones..like vindicate sensei thought seize sculler dark confidant ,the new Sin collector... are the others so bad? are always the card you don't usually see play bad or maybe some of them could rock the game sometimes due also to a surprise effect.
I appreciate your comments by the way.Need to work harder im sure is a deck that could win games. Plus his name/concept makes my laugh a lot. Better than "eva green " stupid names :)
ps: gerrard after MG could be a +6 life for you if u discard lands. not a bad idea since hymn becomes quite useless after md

Deadguy Ale. The deck you are thinking of is Deadguy Ale.
Didn't know of the extisting of a deck with this name. Have just searched for it and you are right it has the 70%of the spells i play. Dontknow where the name comes from but ill rename it Deadguy MJ. I still want to keep it multicolored for the mimic and see if it works

Chances are, Mimic won't wort at all.
Mimic is not an engine, you have trouble reliable triggering it etc. Also, it does NOTHING to your combo-opponent. If you want to play a non-blue deck, it has to be highly efficient or very hateful (Maverick fits both these criteria, for example).
The mimic seems cute, sure, but not reliable at all.

MMM well it has a lot of control cards. Something like more than 20 discarding destroy cards. Yes maybe mimic isnt worth if it doesnt transform every turn after casting it.And i guess that will happen 1/3 of the time. Yes it doesnt do anything againt a combo opponent of course ..it acts sort of like DELVER of SECRETS ..if u understand what i mean
Since i like the interaction between all these WB+:0: casting cost cards maybe Voracious Hatchling x4 will be the mimic substitute to give a sense to the deck. As i told u is stupid to make a thread about a new developmental decks if it has always be a DEADGUY ALE/MAVERICK blalbbla deck... i will search to some other cards that does interact perfectly with multicolored whiteblack ones. Voracious seems a nasty beater tho. or not?:frown: sort of tombstalker alternative version

It is about as far from Delver as you can imagine a creature to be, rofl.
If you want to play a W/B non-deadguy ale list (I don't see how it can be competitive in ANY way, though....) you should go Sam Black's route, and look at a B/W humans-shell or something like that. Teysa can also seem fine, if you can find an engine of sorts, to power it out. Teysa is a card that thrives on cards that function well together, which this deck should. The thing is, for this to work, it has to be reliable done, and Mimic cannot do that.
Cutting red from the list, you could also play wastelands and stuff like that.
2 Teysa
4 Bob
2 Thalia
3 Sin Collector
3 Tidehollow Scullor
4 Blood Artist
3 Stoneforge Mystic
4 Lingering Souls
3 Thoughtseize
2 Cabal Theory
4 Sword to Plowshares
4 Bitterblossom
1 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
1 Sensei's Divining Top
1 Batterskull
4 Wasteland
6 fetchlands
4 scubland
2 karakas
3 plains
1 swamp
Just off the top of my head, I think it could be done.

mmmm honestly i dont think teysa is good enough...too complicated too..i would see mimic fail less than him... the only other one synergic with this mecanism other than Voracious Hatchling is Deathbringer Liege but it really is too expensive .. :(

I used to run Mimic in pauper with Edge of Divinity (Nightsky/Batman Aggro)
The problem with Mimic is that if they respond to removal, you're screwed. You're not running permission and their topdeck is a whole different story.
In a format where Brainstorm is king, how do you suppose to outplay your opponent?
Let's evaluate this:
The top non-blue decks in the format currently are Jund, Goblins and Maverick.
Jund is built around good stuff B/G/r backed up with card advantage and disruption.
Goblins is a card advantage machine.
Maverick is a card quality deck that has disruption to it.
And all these decks have something in common: their threats are spreaded out.
If you want to build a non-blue deck in this format, you have to have the elements above. This is why Wasteland is important. You also might want to add Bob (and SFM) in the mix for card advantage.
You're going I the right direction with Vindicate and Thoughtseize.
The problem with Mimic is that it's putting all your eggs in one basket. Once it's been removed, what are you going to do? It's not like you can side board Hope//Pray and improve that. The only deck that I can think off doing this is Berserk Stompy. Although the difference with that deck and this deck is that not only it can protect its piece (shroud and Daze), it can also win in one turn). Dealing seven damage in one shot doesn't win games the same way 10 poison counter does.

the deck needs a splash of blue so you can run Michael Vision (http://deckbox.org/mtg/Diabolic%20Vision). http://images.wikia.com/uncyclopedia/images/archive/4/47/20070415172703!Home_alone.jpg
