Hi,

in the link below you can find pictures of fake Snapcasters i have recently bought (resolved the issue with the seller sucessfully).

https://plus.google.com/photos/102426851211482587808/albums/5873892043742111457?authkey=CIf9nYTVp_6gFA

The feel to the cards was just slightly off and if i hadn't had a Snapcaster of my own to compare to i wouldn't have noticed the difference on the first feel (if not for the later done light test).

The cards were bought trough the well known European "card market".

So as older players already know "Buyer beware"

Wow... that's kind of scary. The card looks pretty good at a glance - at $20 a pop I'm suprised we haven't seen more of this kind of stuff yet. I know T&T got hit with a bunch of new card fakes a while back.

As you said, "buyer beware".

Take it easy,
Jared

What do these fake cards look like under magnification? Do they have the "dot" pattern like real MTG cards?

From one of the pictures, the dot pattern looks very similar.

My question about these specific fake Snapcasters is answered in a 2009 thread? Hmm.
