Anyone had experience selling MODO collection to MTGOTRADERS?

Can anyone here confirm that this works and those guys are honest with the credentials they are asking for? I am not accusing anyone - just being a bit paranoid about handing over $3k to a complete stranger with a known name.

I have checked the references but guts tell me to get a source resident co confirm I'm good to go.

Just to warn people, MTGOTRADERS dropped their buy price on tix from .95 to .90 because of the recent MODO issues/changes.

I sold my collection to MTGOTraders recently. I requested to be paid by check. I was a bit concerned since it was a multi-thousand dollar transaction but I figured they were reputable so I did it.
Main reason I went against Paypal is that the percentage fee was going to be a substantial amount of $ that I did not want to just throw away.
Gustavo Montangie handled the purchase of my collection and I got an email notifying me that the check is on the way.
Check arrived and I cashed it today. All is well. :laugh:

Yes, you guys fixed the issue!!

I would deal with MTGOTraders again 100%! After talking with paypal and mtgotraders, I learned that it was paypal who held all the funds, basically "just because", while they made sure it was legitimate.

Nevermind the post above, they are great to work with and I look forward to working with them in the future.

Now paypal.... that is a different story!

I just sold my MTGO collection to them; the whole process was very smooth and easy. I sent in my list for appraisal last Friday evening and received an offer yesterday. I accepted the offer and requested payment via Paypal, and I received payment this morning. The transaction took about less than two business days.

Also, during my MTGO playing career, I purchased many times from them, as well, and never had any issues.

I've bought nearly my entire collection from MTGOTRADERS - after painstakingly trading with the automated mtgotradersbuybots, removing each set of cards it asked for, and writing down the totals, I wanted to see if they would offer me a price near what the buybots were going to hard trade for Event Tickets...

Turns out, the numbers were almost identical. (I never did finish with the mtgotradersbuybots because it literally took hours, and dwindled the totals of each trade after removing the cards it asked for each time and jotting down the total for each trade, to less than $40)

I just sold my collection that I'd been building for years. Even though the sale price was several thousand dollars, I didn't worry a bit because of how professional MTGO Traders had been in the past when I'd bought cards from them. They didn't disappoint on my sale either: they offered more for it than other buyers and the cards were transferred and money wired within a day. They even waived the wire transfer fee.
