Really wish I could get out to CA to make this. Would gladly support another store promoting Legacy this much if I could.

Agreed. Why do I have to live in GA!?

Is this a new location for the store? Or just a temporary location?

The results of the poll are so biased.

The tournament is going to be sweet though.

Want to open a store in the Front Range of Colorado? :) :)

Love the poll result right now. Unanimous.

There have been a few changes to the event, but no reduction in the awesomeness (not sure if that is a word)! I hope some of you will join us, and the rest of you check out our coverage.

If anyone has a comment on my choice to have the information page be text with expansions instead of a more standard layout, I would be happy to hear it, whether it is positive or negative.

How many people showed up for this & what was the top 8? Couldn't find anything on the council or anywhere else.

I don't have decklists, but I found a picture of the standings after the final round I can go off of. It was a Top 4 Split and we didn't play it out for PWPs. Archetypes are ads I remember them and I could be wrong, it's just from memory.

5-8 (in no order)
Dustin Cristos (ANT)
Gerald Rhodes (RUG?)
Chang Han (???)
Geoffrey Chou (Punishing Jund)

Top 4
Matthew Hall (Manaless Ichorid)
Gregory Borish (Punishing Jund)
Frederik Lyon (OmniTell)
Fred Chen (BUG)

I think Gerald was on ANT and Chang was on BUG (shardless?). Also, there was a Sneak Attack deck, maybe that was Frederik?

The ones I know for sure were Dustin on ANT, Greg and Geoffrey on Jund and myself on Dredge. Frederik was playing a Show and Tell deck, I thought it was Omni, but maybe not. I was pretty sure the last three decks were 2 RUG/1 BUG or BUG/RUG/TES, but I could be wrong.

Koby

Maybe Gerald was on TES; either way it was Dark Rituals.

I don't understand why MTGdeals doesn't post the lists. Also, how can they get these results posted to mtgtop8 . com? There are some good players hitting this store for Legacy, and the store ROCKS. The staff is amazing, the place it gigantic, it's well stocked, well located, and PERFECT for the tournament scene.

I have only good things to say about MTGdeals, and it would be great to see them take on SCG and become the dominant force on the West Coast. I think tournament recognition on mtgtop8 is required if they're going to step up to SCG.

Yeah there really should be at the very least lists listed at the end of every tournament much like KW posts theirs. Perhaps even follow Mana Infinito's layout with a small write up and the Top 16/Top 8 Decklists. Example: http://manainfinito.com/coverage/la-cr-nica-ell2012-octubre idk.

EDIT: Oh man check out Flow Rock decklist. haha awesome.
