Hello Sourcers! I currently live in the thriving NY state Legacy meta, but I will be moving to San Diego in the fall (hopefully), but I am concerned about not being able to continue my Legacy play.

Does anyone know if Legacy is established out there? I really have no idea.

Thanks!

JC, you're moving? Well that's sad. As for the situation, I don't have much clue. But I've heard some places in California are big on legacy.

San Diego Games & Comics hosts weekly (Thursday I believe) events; but almost all the weekend events are hosted in Los Angeles proper (Knightware and MTG Deals).

Start locally, then carpool for the big stuff :)

So there is a decent frequency of legacy events out there? On this coast you can find largish ones almost every Saturday

On the East Coast, population density is on average of 250 people per sq mile between DC and Boston.
On the West Coast, you've got LA/Orange County region, then a wide open swath of nothingness.
Be grateful you've got them every weekend on a regular basis.

For June, there's 2 large events; local weekly events are more a function of individual stores.
June 2 - Knightware prize tourney
June 16, - MTG Deals prize tourney
July 6 - MTG Deal Legacy Open (cash prizes)
